And were you happy with your choice?
For some reason this particular detail keeps stressing me out, lol. I wan something that will last through lots of kisses, food, and drink. But I am not too keen on the look of matte lips/ a lip stain on myself.
My fiance also despises kissing lipgloss.
Help me out you guys!
What did you wear? Color and formula. Give me some ideas 🙂
I am thinking I want something natural but pinky. Not too dark not too light. But I’d love to see anything and everything

- Wedding: May 2013 - Pavilion overlooking golf course scenery, reception at banquet hall
I used “Cover Girl Natureluxe Peony Gloss Balm” with some random drugstore lipstain underneath (just for extra color when the lipstick inevitably wore off)
(2nd from the left, though after seeing this pic from Google I’m interested in 225, I’d like to try that sometime)

I used a custom lipstick that my MUA mixed up for me. She left me a small container of it for touch ups, but I never touched it up. I was too busy enjoying myself. I wish I had asked Maid/Matron of Honor to remind me to do touch ups throughout the day/evening.
That said, I have a Clinque long wear lipstick that stays pretty well and feels nice. It’s my go to for an evening out. Mr. Lk doesn’t like kissing me with most lipsticks or glosses on, but he tolerates that one. http://www.clinique.com/product/1605/5404/Makeup/Lipsticks/Long-Last-Lipstick/index.tmpl

@aggie2010: That’s smart. A stain underneath!

@freshflowers: I have funny shaped lips and wearing lipstick seems to make them look worse, so i very rarely wear it coz it takes ages to apply and camouflage the problem.
So i am wearing my favourite lip tint https://www.lush.co.uk/product/232/It-Started-with-a-Kiss-Lip-Tint

I wore MAC Viva Glam V. It’s a “your lips but better” type color. I also loved that all the proceeds go to MAC’s HIV/AIDS foundation. Here’s a couple pictures to give you an idea of how it looks:
However, after the ceremony I just applied chapstick throughout the night
