Ive been trying to figure out what to wear under my dress. Ive read posts that say you should worry about being comfortable rather than sexy but I would like to do both. So get specific, did you wear shapewear, sexy underwear, a corset? And if yours was both sexy and comfortable, let me know what you wore! And if you are not yet married, put what you plan to wear!

I have a feeling I will be wearing shapewear LOL It’s unfortunate bc afterwards I want to be in something nice but I’m sure the FH doesn’t want to spend all this time figuring out the gidgets and gadgets of how to take the dress off so it gives me plenty of time to put something sexy on.

my dress had a built in bra/corset so i didn’t wear anything else up there. i wore some cute bikini cut bottoms because they’re always comfortable and Darling Husband likes them on me so it makes me feel sexy. that’s the only thing i wore!

My dress had an internall corset and I ended up not needing a bra, (for the first time in my adult life!). So I just wore little white lacey panties that said bride on them in rhine stones. I changed into something sexier afterwards.

I will probably wear something cute and comfy for my underwear.. Turns out my dress has a corsett and I won’t be needing a bra.. But I would go the comfort route!

@MissLacy: Wedding dresses have such great boning in the bust you shouldn’t need a bra, I didn’t. All I wore was a sexy little Victoria’s Secret white lace thong and my nice lace keepsake garter. He took the dress off b/c I needed help with all the little buttons, then we went to have a sexy/relaxing/rejuvinating soak in the jacuzzi tub in our suite’s bathroom, and after that I put something sexy and bridal on to surprise him with while he waited in the other room, with anticipation and bated breath I’m sure, haha. 🙂 Be comfortable during the day under there, you can get sexy later!

Spanx and nothing else. Seamstress sewed cups into the top, and I probably could wear it without the Spanx, but it’s a form fitting dress and it just makes me feel more secure to wear the Spanx (thigh to underboob kind)

I had cups sewn in, so no bra. And I wore the white, lace thong from Victoria’s Secret that says Bride in silver rhinestones on the side.
Oh and the two garters.

Neither sexy nor comfortable — I went for 100% functional with a long-line bra and spanx!

I had cups swen into my dress so all I wore was a pair of undies (nude lacy thongs from VS). They were sexy, but they were not my “wedding night” outfit 🙂

I want cups sewn into my gown, so no bra and then I don’t think I need shape wear, so I may just be in panties and a garter.
When the photographer was in the room when you were putting your gown on and all you were wearing were panties, did you just hold your boobs? I’m not by any means a prude, but I don’t want everyone just staring at my boobs.

Since my Darling Husband had only ever seen me fully dressed or in a bathing suit before the wedding, I was determined to have on the most gorgeous lingerie I could find when he helped me out of the gown at our hotel suite after the weddng. I found a beautiful set from Fantasie, some pieces of which I had to order from the UK! 🙂 Frankly, I’m not sure he even paid much attention to the lingerie itself, but it certainly made me feel beautiful.

my dress had built in support but i bought a le mystere bridal bustier. i ended up not wearing it because i didn’t want to feel constricted. i wore a pair of hanky panky lace undies.

Well I ended up duct taping my boobs….
Other than that, I wore Spanx and Jets (DH’s favorite football team) undies.
Sooo obviously I was super sexy. Anyway, Darling Husband didn’t even see any of the undergarments thankfully!
