roseandcoil :  An impending engagement does sound like the perfect time to treat yourself to something cute! Even if you aren’t dressed up at the big moment, you can always put something cute on afterward and have a family member take a few pictures of you guys! In the days after the engagement we got invited out by so many friends and family to celebrate and I def wish I had a few more cute outfits packed to wear.

I’m a big fan of nudes. Well THAT would certainly be a memorable proposal outfit ;P

Seriously though, I’m a big fan of Modcloth for cute dresses if you’re looking to invest in some pretty good-quality stuff. Given your color palette, maybe something like these?

I’d just gotten home from a business trip and went to my husbands apartments, so my work slacks and a sweater.  He proposed at his place over a “home cooked” meal.  “Home cooked” in quotes cause the man cant and doesnt cook for sh!t.

roseandcoil :  I was getting ready for bed… so I was brushing my hair and had taken my jeans off but still had a jumper on. And I think maybe my socks cos I’m classy like that.

He was wearing his boxer shorts cos he’s classy like that!

I thought my now-DH was going to propose over dinner too, so I had a cute outfit picked out (I have no idea what it was, as it’s been years now)… but he ended up proposing while we were walking our dog in the park earlier that same day, so I was in jeans, a sweatshirt, and no makeup!

I wasn’t wearing anything cute, my hair was unkempt, it was feeezing and windy (we were at a national park) and I was wearing 2 pairs of pants, a huge jacket, runners, big wooly scarf and gloves ๐Ÿ˜‚ not cute, not glamorous AT ALL ๐Ÿ˜But my nails were nice at least ๐Ÿ˜‰
