I got married when I was nearing spinster age and have zero regrets. I definitely YOLO’d it up.

Maybe partied more? I’ve always been responsible & have never really let loose. Though, now that my youngest is graduating high school (and his last only has 2 more years), I’m feeling this tremendous sense of freedom.

Not much really, I did most things I wanted to do and some things I didn’t do had not much to do with my relationship status. I wish I was more patient in a couple of relationships ( both romantic and friendly). Being younger I had the mindset ” life is too short for that drama” and maybe I didn’t give as much as a chance as I should have to some people. But in the end it all worked out fine.

mendingbee :  The only thing I can think of that I don’t do now is visit friends in other cities by myself. But I’m not really super close to any of my friends so it doesn’t really bother me but it could be something that could bother a lot of people.

It’s not necessarily that he wouldn’t want me doing those things or that I can’t do it anymore but it’s just not something I want to do. I went on one trip like that and both of us missed each other too much so we’ve always done trips to visit/meet my friends together since then and I’ve liked those so much better.

Nothing. I was in my 30s when we met . I had my fun wild days, I had my whole 20s doing what I wanted.

Hmm. I partied enough, studied abroad, lived and traveled to other countries, and have 2 great cats. I don’t think there is anything I feel I would be missing out on. In fact I’m gaining more – a house, a sweet doggie, lots of emotional and physical support, and he’s also been my travel partner for many of my younger years so we plan to keep traveling. 🙂

Taking more trips overseas or interstate with my friends, while all of us were single. It’s tons of fun, you just don’t get to do that very often anymore when everyone is married and some have kids.

I met hubby at 26 and we were long-distance for awhile so I lived overseas, partied, lived in the city, lived on my own, dated around (although never slept around which I sometimes regret and am sometimes grateful for). My biggest regret is actually that I didn’t save money more before we got really serious cuz a few months before we got married I was hit with a big medical crisis and we are still paying it down which put kiddos way on the back burner. 😩
