Under $500, diamond. And we could have paid more, but I couldn’t justify spending tons on a ring.

my ring is a 1 carat i1 solitaire we paid $1,500, it has two clouds near the prongs but it is really beautiful and I didn’t want him spending more than that on something that’s on my hand you know? I’ve seen some really beautiful 15-20k rings but I just don’t understand having the price of a new car or really nice car sitting on your finger

All in all, it looks like we’re gonna come out at right around 6k….our original budget was 5k then it went down to 3,000 (mostly due to me…I didn’t want to spend that much) then back up to 5,500. We settled on $5500 & we would have stayed right under that if we hadn’t had such a mess of a time custom making the ring.

About 2/3 ctw diamonds and 3 ctw of untreated natural yellow sapphires. The center stone is about 2.75 carats and 2 small side stones in the band. I would have preferred not to go over budget obviously but when it came down to the end, spending an extra $300 to make it what I truly wanted was worth it to both of us

My ring is 2.76 ttlct weight with 4 princess cut diamonds in the center and channel set diamons on the sides. The ring came with wedding band of channel set diamonds, but I wear the two together as my engagemnt ring because thats how my Fiance gave it to me and wanted me to wear it. It was 8k.

For the actual wedding band, we have has gotten a third, matching channel setting band. The third peice is 2400$. So, after June 26th it will be a three piece ring set that totals 3.76cts and will be 10,400$ total in cost.

$800, non-diamond three stone ring. I told him he better not spend more than a paycheck on my ring. He did well!

5-10k appraised for over closer to 15k. He was willing to spend 15-30k. I was not :D. Sapphire, platinum, diamonds, and custom!

My ring looks like it cost a LOT more than it actually did. Fiance got lucky, my mom gave him the center stone from her ring. The setting for the e-ring was $1300 and that included having it set. I then had the wrap custom made. It was $1500. So total for the set was under $3k. People think it’s at least a $5k set though.

My center stone was $100.  The setting was the expensive part, I think it was around $1300 because it’s platinum, which shoots the price up a lot more than gold.

I think my ring was around 34k (appraised for around 36k but I don’t know the actual paid price.)  Center is 1.65 cushion vvs1 g color, sides are SI2 G color half moons totalling 2.20ctw. Custom made platinum shank. It was within his budget (not ours, as it was not “our” money yet!) and he was happy to make me happy!

Mine’s a family heirloom so it was the best price – FREE! It has a 0.7 center stone, ~1.0 tcw, and was appraised at ~$6,000. We did pay about $200 to have it resized and have the 100-year-old platinum prongs rebuilt. I love the ring, the sentiment behind it, and the price!

Both engagement and wedding ring cost my hubbs about $3700 total. They’re both a amazing quality, color and clarity. Love my little sparklers!

My ring came in at about 2600. Less than half his original budget but we both knew this was THE ring.
