Good, well-made shoes should cost that much. Sure, you can pick up a cute pair of flats at Target for $20, but they won’t last/have the support of a $100 pair of shoes. That’s assuming that the cost for those shoes is for quality, and not just an upcharge for their “uniqueness”. Hard to tell on ETSY sometimes, you know?

My wedding shoes were from J. Crew and cost about $110. I love them so much that I actually wear them pretty often, and they have held up marvelously!

I don’t have them yet- but the ones I really like are $65 at David’s Bridal. I’m stalking them until they go on sale. I totally understand what you mean about not being able to justify it!

Mine were from Charles David are were about $200. If you’re sheepish about spending more on shoes either buy a pair you would wear again or don’t spend a ton on them. They aren’t noticeable on under a floor length gown so I think your money can be better spent on other parts of the wedding.

$97 which is about what I spend on shoes on average.

I haven’t purchased mine yet, but I’m hoping to stay under $65. I can’t justify spending a lot, but I’m usually pretty cheap when it comes to shoes haha, so I guess you’ll have to decide if it’s worth it! Are they really unique (coming from Etsy?) Will they look great in pictures / make a statement? Do you love them/think they’ll be comfortable? Will you wear them again?  All questions you’ll have to take into consideration before spending more than your comfortable with! 🙂

I got some nine west flats from Amazon.com for about 40.  I’ll spend up to $120 on good, comfortable shoes that I’ll wear a lot, but wedding shoes definitely weren’t a priority to me.  But belive me, I’m spurlging on other things!

If you can afford them and you love them, then go for it!

Sorry ChantellyLace, didn’t see your last post before I wrote! BUT, if you’re feeling that way, just do it! Make sure the photographer takes some great/unique photos of the shoes and you’ll be happy in the end that you got them!

I bought $300 stuart weitzman shoes….but my wedding dress was $99 (crazy sample sale)……and they’re the MOST comfortable heels I’ve ever put on my feet!

I ordered mine for $695. It’s a Valentino red silk d’orsay. Can’t wait for them to get here.  *Squeal*

Mine are the pink Carlos by Badgely Mischka and they were $225. I LOVE them so much and have already used them once for my boudoir photo shoot and will definitely wear them on the honeymoon and beyond after my wedding day!

$87 with shipping!  I’ll probably have a second pair of cheap flats… not sure if I can last in 4 inch heels all day/night! 🙂
