My husband bought me a gift box from Lush of soaps, bath bombs etc. I always wanted stuff from Lush as a present, now I finally had some. I’ve given these types of gifts to other people but never bought for myself because it’s kind of expensive. He also “let” me spend over $2000 on a camera and lens I wanted. So that was my main Christmas present.

We got married 2 days after Christmas so that was the best gift I could have asked for! But we did exchange gifts. My big gift from him was a new Kitchenaid mixer. Mine broke after many many years and I love to bake.

- Wedding: February 2018 - UK
He got me a replacement Samsung tablet, a watch, some books, a DVD, and some jellybeans. Which he then dropped all over the floor when he tried to steal some of them while I was at work…

A Snoogle pregnancy pillow, all-weather floor mats for my car, and perfume. That’s all I asked for lol. I’m also getting new tires on my car this weekend, so we’re considering that part of my gift, as well.

I hope everyone had a great Christmas and Happy New Year! My husband got me a new diamond band, pajamas, and other stocking stuffers.

We just exchange small gifts at Christmas – he got me a new dry bag for kayaking and kayak paddle grips since he knows I always get blisters on my hands at the beginning of each kayaking season.

A sweater. I told him that i wanted a chenille sweater, he told me he had no clue what that means so I texted a link to the one that I liked and he pulled out his wallet and bought it on his phone in front of me, and then made me wait to open it even though I knew exactly what it was hahaha it sat unwrapped in it’s shipping packaging on our entry way table for like three weeks. I love it though. It’s a big joke between us that he’s not good at gift giving/surprises so it was totally on brand for him. He did come home from a guys getaway trip a couple days after christmas with birkenstock slippers (so random lol) that didn’t fit so now we are tasked with returning those lol.

We didn’t do physical gifts this year, but we did take ourselves on a mini vacation – a few nights at a nice lodge – and treat ourselves to a couples massage. We are both super picky and tend to buy things for ourselves when we want them, so we decided to save some stress and spend money on an experience we could both enjoy instead.

This is going to sound crazy but I wanted wireless headphones so that I can listen to music at the gym. You would think that this shouldn’t be that hard to find but I have posted previously about how horrible that this has been for me. I have about 900 pair that I hate. I have some that don’t /won’t even stay in my ears, some that are too bulky, some that make the insides of my ears itch. Frankly, I’m kind of a disaster as I’ve tried and hated so many pair.
Anyway, my husband found a pair that are perfect. I love them, they are comfortable, they stay in, not too bulky. Just. Perfect.
I also got a nice necklace and scarf from Etsy, some chocolate , some nice Origins face wash that I like, and a cozy grey sweater. I also have a bday the day before Xmas, so some of the above are also bday gifts.

My SO got me a diamond cross necklace that I have wanted for a long time. When I was with my ex, he never would get me one. I mentioned it once to my SO a few months ago and he surprised me with the perfect necklace and only 1 month after buying my enagement ring. I think I’m a little spoiled now lol!

It was funny. He got ME some new WiFi earphones.
I got him new wireless beats earphones. Lol. But, cause I know him…and stuff ….I got him top of the line, super quick charge, with a tether. Cause this man loses and forgets everything. I knew in a week he’d have one headphone remaining, with no charge otherwise. Lol. And I’d have a grumbly fh.
He also bought me a very pretty earring necklace bracelet set.
And I got him a ton of practical things, like a keychain, worksocks, thermals, etc etc.
Oof I forgot
He also gave me a year long boxy charm subscription, to ALL the boxes. Which is heaven and a lifesaver… to me …where he is stationed for work the only store for makeup or skincare is a small, low stock .Walmart and it’s 80kms round trip. My poor skin will thank me.
