Both of our rings will be engraved with a line from a song we wrote together ๐Ÿ™‚

MrsBuesleBee:  Haha, that’s awesome. A truly timeless message… ๐Ÿ˜‰

I picked the title of our first dance song to get engraved on DH’s band (‘You send me’) along with the date. It seemed appropriate, and is a special song/memory for us.

MrsBuesleBee:  That’s perfect… NOT.

We had ours engraved with our initials (which are now the same) and our wedding date!

MrsBuesleBee:  haha.. Who engraves that?! LoL..

I wrote, I’ll never give up on you…. Because we have this plaque that says a perfect marriage is just two imperfect people that refuse to give up on each other. It’s a saying he loves, so I wanted to engrave a line from it!!

I had our initials and wedding date. if I could do it again, I would do “all my dreams fulfilled” from Love Me Tender, our first dance song. I just wish I had done something more meaningful to us than just initials and a date.

MrsBuesleBee:  That made me laugh!

I engraved the inside of his band with our wedding date and the word “trumpets.” It’s from a silly pop punk song we listen to together about a couple that grows old and the last line in the song is, “everytime I see you, I still hear trumpets” and the song ends with the fade out of the sound of trumpets playing.

This one requires a little backstory. I was texting my husband a few years ago and i wrote “ttyl” on a text. He had no clue what it meant, so I told him it meant talk to you later. He said, “ok. TLU.” i asked what did TLU mean? He responded, “totally love you.” So funny and sweet! now we’ve been texting TLU for years and I want to have TLU engraved on both of our wedding bands.

this is so timely! we got his wedding band yesterday and he keeps trying to convince me that he should get to wear it, but i told him i need to have it engraved.

i think i’ll use a line from one of our wedding readings, if i can get one to fit!

that or ‘love and tacos’ because when he proposed after the shock had worn off, we were talking about how being married was going to be THE BEST, i got a little weepy and said ‘there will be love and tacos!’

My name (I have his)  with the wedding date. Very traditional I know, but also timeless.
