I loooooove Corelle!  Most of their designs were too loud or country for me, but I’m so glad I found one I love.  My only complaint is that the bowl is a bit short/small, so I bought a different completely unmatching one from Pier1 that I just liked.

We registered for these from Emile Henry dinnerware in nougat/off white.  We wanted dishwasher and microwave safe.

Darling Husband and I are not color people. So we chose Noritake Colorwave in black. It’s very clean looking, very classic I think. It’s awesome, dishwasher and oven safe, and all that. Here’s what we got in white. They also have it with round plates, and with colored rims if you want that. Look at BBB, but they have it at Macy’s too.

ETA: It’s also very durable. When we went to register, the lady picked up a plate to show us and accidentally dropped it on the tile floor. It was fine!

Agree with Aliavenue:  We are also registered for (and already using) Everyday White from BB&B.  I had already purchased a few sets when living alone, and just decided to register for the remainder to get 8 place settings, and accessory pieces.

@TankIsCute: That’s what I originally picked too. But I’m confused… the plates say microwave and dishwasher safe, but online the description says “not recommended for the microwave”. So now I’m not so sure if I want that set.

@BayStateBride I know i think it means the dish will just get hot if you do…ether way it doesn’t make a huge diffrence to me
