@MissBatman:  Luckily, we had people buy us extras (despite it being fulfilled on our registry!), so if they chip, we’ll be good… at least for a little while ๐Ÿ™‚

@MsGinkgo:  Even though I chose Fiestaware I’m a BIG fan of Corelle too. I have my grandma’s old set and those plates are SO light and durable too. It was a really tough decision choosing between the two. I honestly think you can’t lose either way.

@JenniferG:  I have the same Corelle pattern but in gray instead of black. I love it! It’s so pretty and durable!

We are also doing the colorwave sets, but in blue, turqoise and brown!

@twostatesbride  @MrsJX3 – +1 LUUUUURVE C&B’s dinnerware patterns. It took me about an hour looking back and forth at all of them in the store to finally decide. We settled on the white Marin set. I love the rustic, handmade look. They’re classic with a little something different. Plus, Fiance loved how deep the plates were and that the set came with low bowls. He obsessed with finding the right pasta dish. ๐Ÿ™‚

We’re also going with Fiestaware.  Since we’re using Amazon for our registry we picked from the sets they have there.

We have a set of Corelle, the pattern is called Enhancements I think? Anyway, it has a nice lip on it, and the wavy pattern on the rim gives it a bit of flair for everyday dishes.

We registered for the Ito dinnerware from C&B for our mid-level dishes, and the Kensington Pearl china from C&B for our fancy-schmancy set. It’s SO pretty but I think they may be discontinuing it soon…boo.

Yeah…I’ve got a thing about dinnerware. ๐Ÿ˜‰

We register for Lenox Moonlit Garden china at Bed Bath and Beyond. This is for everyday. I really wanted porcelain for its durability!

We went for dishes in the white/ivory colors because they go with all my colorful table cloths, napkins, and placemats.

Casual:  Staccato from Crate & Barrel

China:  Royal Doulton Opalene – its mosaic ๐Ÿ™‚

Didn’t go for China (I KNOW we won’t use it) and wanted something that would be nice for both everyday and formal uses and not just plain white.

So with that said, we went for the 18th St collection from Crate & Barrel:
