So this whole waiting to get engaged thing sucks, I’m obviously not going to push him into something he’s not ready to do! Some days I don’t even think about it, other days I am on here and other sites like an addict checking out rings, looking at wedding dresses, getting ideas… When in reality I am going to be waiting 6-12 months to get engaged. I swear I have changed the ring I want at least 3 times now. This all started when my SO told me I could start looking at rings, but he didn’t tell me I was going to have to wait for what seems like foreveeeerr. I hate to sound like a little brat, but jeez. What did some of you ladies do when you knew you were going to get engaged, but had to wait? How did you satisfy your ring shopping addiction? I love rose gold, round diamonds, sapphire side stones with white gold/platinum, scroll settings, settings that have pretty prints inscribed into the band… If you have a ring like that show me! or, does that not help my problem? lmao.

Perhaps he’s stressed out about the ring cuz you keep changing your mind as to what you want? Maybe he’s still searching for the right one.

@Rubbs: Oh no he has no idea what rings I have been looking at! lol, I don’t bring it up to him because I don’t want him to feel pressured!

Haha, I did that, too!
I swear I was in love with every imaginable ring for a while!
Luckily, Darling Husband picked out the ring by himself with no input from me!

Haha, just wait until you know the ring has been purchased and is hidden somewhere in the house

best thing to do is put your free time into something else…focus on maybe a new hobby or something of that sort

@Clairetoris: go to some stores by yourself to get a good idea of what you want. Do you know if he’s willing to have you go shopping with him? If so, then go do some shopping on your own (or with friends) and then go with him. Once you go with him…you won’t be able to change your mind!!
