I just bought my dress at David’s Bridal. It’s a strapless ball gown with a fitted bodice. I need some advice on what to wear underneath of it. David’s Bridal sold me a corset bustier but it shows a bit right above the breasts and also my dress has a sheer, V shaped part in between the breast area. So the corset shows there as well. I was wondering if I have to wear it at all? Or should I just get a different one that is shaped differently? The dress has supportive boning and cups.

Can you just get bra cups sewn in and not wear anything?

I had a strapless ball gown. I had bra cups sewn in (only because I lost weight in my boobs and needed a little extra padding in the bust!) and that was all I needed. I’m a 36DD for reference, and it was plenty supportive.

I had a bustier.. but I could see it, just like you. The seamstress is sewing in bra cups instead.

I’m wearing a gown with an illusion back, AND plunging neckline, so I can’t even wear a bra period. haha. I’m going with these.
I think you would be fine with something like this, and no bra. And you could get bust cups sewn in for a little extra coverage.

I tried on that same dress! David’s will sew in cups for pretty cheap ($20 or $40 in Denver depending on if you want push up). That’s what I am doing.
