I walk away, ignore him &let him be a grump all by himself. He usually snaps out of it in a couple of hours.

Speaking of being a grump, My Fiance is also in his grumpy mood today. I stay away and try not to get in his path lol. Or I make comments to him that annoy him but eventually make him let out a little laugh or smile. But he still seems to be in one of those moods no matter what

When Darling Husband is being a grump, he knows it and goes for a long run or throws lacrosse balls at the wall in our backyard.  I guess I’m lucky that way!

I usually tell him that it’s not ok for him to take his bad mood out on me and then I avoid him. Usually when he’s over it, he’ll come find me and somehow convey that he’s out of his mood and that’s that.

Feed him!  When he’s grumpy, it usually means he’s hungry!

I go hide somewhere else, too! Everyone gets in a mood every now and then. I know I prefer to be left alone, and I find so does my Fiance. I don’t get irritated with him, and he can sulk it out if need be.

(Though if you ask him, he doesn’t get “cranky” haha.)

I think you’re doing the best thing by hanging out with the hive.

I try to give him space… that’s what he says he needs when he’s like that.

I usually leave him alone to sulk, which is what I wish he’d do to me when I’m grumpy. He insists upon antagonizing me until I either start laughing or explode and scream at him. I like my way better.

sometimes i leave him alone. other times i try to bring home treats or lil surprises to cheer him up. he absolutely loves dessert treats from the local grocery bakery. 🙂

I confirm he’s wearing grumpy pants by asking him in a funny tone.  And if he is, I either listen if he starts to talk or give him his space if he’s still quiet.  He always comes around.  He tends to need to be alone with his thoughts occasionally and I have learned to give him that.

I give him space and let him deal with it on his own.  It’s what he and I both prefer!
