Personally – I prefer it how it is now.  But this is your wedding and your style and I think you should tailor the dress however YOU prefer it!  If you like the sleeves – do it!

PS – I do love the dress by the way!

I think the pink dress is great for the look you are going for. If you are going to add sleeves to your dress, I would get rid of the halter top, and do just sleeves. Is that what you plan to do? Do you have a picture of your dress so we can give you better opinions?

The pink dress looks really pretty!  What is the bottom like?  50s-style skirt?

I love the Bridesmaid or Best Man dress!  Did you get it from Unique Vintage?  I have a 50’s style theme for my wedding and I heard that Unique Vintage has great 50’s style swing dresses.  The website is http://www.unique-vintage.com.  Good Luck finding your special dress!

Their dresses are so cute!

I think it would look really nice with sleeves instead of a halter, and you would feel better about it if you changed it. Plus, it is your day and dress and you can do whatever you want!

I think the bust part of the pink dress is strange. I hope your bridesmaids are not well endowed b/c I know that is something I would have trouble wearing appropriately. The horizontal lines would sit in the middle of my breasts, not under, like they should.

ok, i was a little confused – but that pink dress IS for the BM’s and the off the shoulder is what you want for yours.

i say YES YES YES!

It’s funny – I actually bought that same. exact. dress. (BM one) in yellow from uniquevintage for my rehearsal dinner! and i LOVE it – but one thing – make sure to get a crinolin underneath or else it lays flat and you don’t get the full affect.

AND my wedding dress is off the shoulder! 🙂

so obviously my answer is YES. 🙂 lol

edited to add – from EJYS’s comment – I’m NOT well endowed AT ALL and actually will need to buy a better “fuller” bra TO fill it out…otherwise I look like I’m TOTALLY flat on top.

I like this sleeve pic (the last one you posted) best. I think it goes well with that type of neckline, and the other one may look off. It will look really pretty! Are you planning on having the sleeves all beaded like in this pic? It would look really pretty that way and make it more “princess-y”
