I don’t have any thoughts. I have only seen it done on TV and youtube.

I think it could be fun to watch, but as a bridesmaid I would HATE to be asked to do it because I would feel obligated to do it and pretend to love the idea, but in reality I would not be happy.

The wedding I was in last year had one. It was totally awkward and the dude I was paired with was totally coked out. I could not wait to get back to my table and sit down with my FI!! It’s very strange to dance with another dude when your Fiance is looking on…. We deff won’t be doing one….

Same! I was last asked to participate in one of these 11 years ago, and as we were all 21 and 22 year olds, this was the most awkward dance ever!! I think I’d have to vote against it!!

I think it can be a nice way to include the bridal party, but the last wedding I was in I was paired up with an ex boyfriend and it was extremely awkward! The wedding prior to that I was paired up with a good guy friend of mine and it went fine and wasn’t weird at all. I guess it depends on the dynamics of your bridal party.

I’m definitely not a fan.  It’s always so awkward, for both the guests and the wedding attendants.  I think it feels too much like you’re putting on a show, and that’s definitely not what a wedding is about.

Unless you’re super theatrical or a dancer or something and then I guess that’d be totally appropriate.
