I think “we” love that ring. I love gemstone engagement rings!

i think its beautiful, BUT you may have a hard time finding a wedding band that fits snugly next to it.

@miss. eire: I was in your boat, too! My boyfriend wasn’t planning on buying a ring until early next year. However, we discovered moissanite, which gave us an inexpensive option…meaning that I had to come to terms with getting a ring (and getting engaged) much sooner than I originally thought. We went ahead and got the ring made and it’s in his possession at the moment. It took a while to make the ring and I’m still waiting for him to propose…so I had some time to get used to the whole thing. When it’s right, it’s right! I say go for it. A few months isn’t going to make a huge difference in the grand scheme of things.

It’s absolutely gorgeous!  Peridot is my birthstone and I’m always looking for beautiful stones – that is BEAUTIFUL!

I have a ring that is a halo ring and I bought a plain band and it fits snugly next to my engagement ring.  The halo on the ring you like looks like it sits up high enough for a ring like that (or a band with stones).

Here is a pic – excuse the terrible quality:

Here is my ring from the top just for an idea of how it looks from another angle:

That’s gorgeous! But the band is reallllllly thin. What kind of metal is it made out of?

@miss. eire: Thank you. I just wanted to show you the example instead of trying to explain it.  Smile

I wanted a plain band with a message inscribed on the inside and didn’t really think if it would fit with my ring (thought I could switch off between the two or wear my engagement on my right hand if it didn’t fit).  Well it did fit and I was ecstatic.  I think if you don’t mind having a plain band, then I think it will work.  The halo is set high enough that it fits right under there!

I’m also thinking of getting an eternity band to put on top of my engagement ring. I have a cheapy ring that looks like what I want to get and it fits great on top of my ring just fine – so you could even do a band with gemstones.

I love that peridot ring!  Seriously, it’s so lovely.  That seller does great work!
