I just bought Spanx to wear under my dress. The high waisted ones that go all the way down almost to my knees. Might be something to think about, depending on you and your dress.

Undergarments depend a lot on your dress!

My dress was quite low cut but also quite structured so I ended up not wearing a bra. I had purchased a variety of possible bra-type things (bra, bra+Spanx type combo, etc), but all the bra options just made me look like my boobs were busting out of my dress, so I went without.

My dress was also quite a stiff material so there wasn’t any risk of lumps and bumps being visible so I didn’t need the smoothing of the spanx either.

I also went without stockings/pantyhose on the day, but I can’t remember the logic behind that

My grandmothers wedding ring

I wore Jockey slip shorts – they’re not shapewear but they prevent chaffing and they’re a material like a slip so nothing sticks to them.

Are you going to wear your veil the entire evening, or are you planning on taking it off after the ceremony? If you’re taking it off, you might want a hair comb or flower or something to put into your hair!
