We like to golf, topgolf (there’s only a few around), eat/drink (we both love wine and food), he plays soccer and I watch, workout.. We have a ton of common interests so it’s never really been a problem. When he does want to play games (ipad) I usually read.

There are definitely things that we do separately–like I enjoy crafts/cooking and he likes to play video games with his friends.
We also do a lot of things together, though. Aside from the plain old eating dinner/watching tv and movies, we also do crossword puzzles, read the same books at the same time (nerdy, I know!), go for hikes/walks on the trail, and have doggy playdates with friends. We’re both like going out with friends/planning outings/entertaining at our place, too.

@kaiangel6: We love TopGolf!! I’m terrible at it, though.

It’s a lot easier finding things to do in the summer than in the winter. In the spring/summer/fall we go on a lot of hikes. We are trying to cover all 800km (500mi) of Ontario’s Bruce Trail, so a lot of our hikes are also weekend getaways. Toronto has a lot of bike paths so we cycle them all when the weather is nice too.
Also – we just love to walk and explore new parts of the city. Toronto has so many different cultural “towns” (Little Italy, Greek Town, Little India, Little Jamaica, China Town, etc.) so we really enjoy getting a taste of culture without traveling halfway across the world.
If the weather sucks, we will just pick up a book and read. We often go to book stores and read the books and magazines without actually buying them (they let you do this!)

Like @sienna76: my Fiance and are big outdoor people. We do lots of hiking, backpacking, canoeing, rafting, and rock climbing together. We’ve also just went on our mountaineering trip and loved it so we’ll definitely be doing more of that. We like to read, play board games, and play tennis as well. And during college football season most Saturdays are spent watching football. We also took up hashing for a while (a drinking club with a running problem) but haven’t done that in over 1-2 years.
@Sweet.Sugar.Rose: “How scary is water rafting? There is a place near by (where we hike at) that you can water raft! We would love to try it. (Sorry to thread jack!)”
I would like to second the awesomeness of white water rafting. It sounds intimidating , but once you start it’s so much fun and I don’t think it’s that scary at all (and I’ve fallen out lots of times)! I’ve done the Gauley and New Rivers out in WV and some other river in Montana that I can’t remember the name of. I don’t know exactly where you are in VA, but I highly recommend the New River if you’re just starting out. It’s got big enough rapids (class II-III and maybe one IV?) to give you a good ride but not scare the crap out of a first-time rafter. Also, if you’re really nervous about it, most companies (if not all) will give you a less wild ride (ie they won’t purposely try to flip you) if you ask. Though personally, I think the more wild rides are the best. Then if you like rafting you can level-up to the Gauley. =)

We love camping!!! We have a Razor (off roading vehicle) that we take to the beach, desert, dunes and camp and hang out. We seriously love our trailer and any chance we get to go camping we do! We’re actually going after I get off work today lol Also, Fiance loves golf and he is realllly good, so he golfs alot and when I’m not working I go with him. We also have every golf show set to record and I actually enjoy watching them lol
EDIT: Don’t know how I forgot, we love Dexter and watching old episodes on Netflix!!

We cook most nights, have a weekly volleyball date with my labmates, rock climb in the gym on the weekends, watch a lot of Netflix shows, play tennis, go boating some weekends… Sometimes we bike but it’s a lot of work to get my bike down from the third floor 🙁

We snowboard together! Also, we play epic games of fetch with our malamute. 😉 We play board games, read the same book at the same time on our Nooks and discuss, play “Tiny Zoo” & “Draw Something” on our phones, and watch our fav TV shows together. Sometimes, we’ll play together on our Kinect or Rock Band on XBox.

We met playing World of Warcraft so that’s a big one. We watch alot of movies. We both love animals, he just got a puppy I can’t wait to meet and I have a herd of kitties. And we love the zoo, went twice in one week my first visit. When I move down there there will probably be walks, maybe going to the gym together, might get him to socialize a little with the outside world *gasp* I like having game nights here so maybe he’ll like that.
And of course there’s the obvious fun activity but that’s not what you meant, was it?

Have sex, eat, watch movies, have sex, play golf, work out together, have sex, go out on the town, have sex, go to the beach, have sex, watch sports, go shopping, have sex.
We have fun no matter what we do, as long as we’re together doing it. We really enjoy each other.

@totheislnds: That sounds so fun!! How much gold have you found so far??
My FH and I really enjoying going to all of the amazing restaurants in Chicago, so we go out to dinner at least once on the weekends. We also go on walks around the city when the weather is nice. We work out together a few times a week. And starting this weekend we are taking dance lessons!
