We are past the age (28&27) where we want to go to the bar and drink all night. In fact, we really don’t go to bars. So what do you guys do for date night?
We have been getting tickets to concerts for the symphony, going out to eat, hanging out in the cultural district to see what broadway shows are playing, ect.

date night? lol what’s that!? : ) You’re very lucky that you get to do those types of things together! Enjoy!

We don’t have a set “date night”, mostly we’ll both get home from somewhere and decide that we haven’t seen much of each other and will head out to a restaurant.
We used to do this a lot but since we started getting our finances in order to purchase our farm we weren’t going out as much. It’s totally a treat for us now.

We usually go out for a nice dinner, or go to a movie.

We’re 28&27 and we still like to go out to bars (never clubs) mostly to watch a game or something like that. My absolute FAVORITE thing to do is go to a Comedy Club.
I have to say a close second is when we get a coffee from Borders and look at all the new books/magazines together.
Last time that scored me an eReader 😉

We have one set Saturday every month. Sometimes we both go home and just want to go out to eat instead of making dinner. I don’t count those. lol

We like to switch it up a little… our next few dates are going to be indoor rock climbing and a mosaic class!

We’ve never been “bar flys” even at 24&25, I’ll do the occasional “dive bar” with my girlfriends but for the most part, not our thing!
We attempt to do a date night every other friday, like a REAL date.Usually we do dinner and a movie. We did a Live Theater and Dinner one night! We love going on walks or strolls through shopping centers with a hot chocolate.
Depending on the agenda, its nice to still get dolled up to g out with the one you love! And we are total people watchers, so its usually always a great time!

@Miss Tattoo: We don’t really go out to bars or things either. We’ll do double dates with our best friends (who are married to each other) and go see comedians, out to dinner, dessert and drinks, etc.
We go window shopping downtown or go to a secondhand book store we both like and just browse because their stock is always changing. We do game nights with just each other, have something fun like pizza or takeout and play board/card games.
We also have “fancy” dates about once a month where we dress up and go out to a nice dinner.
We also do a lot of just relaxing at home, playing wii, doing projects on our house…

We tend to hibernate more in the winter because its just sooo cold and icy out at night. But we like going to new restaurants, watching movies, and cooking at home. Last weekend we had a pizza cook off (sounds lame…i know), but it was actually wicked fun 🙂
in the summer we are way more active. We go for walks or bike rides, go to the city for outside events, go to baseball games, go to the beach. Oooo I can’t wait for the warmer weather!

We mostly go out to eat. We are both foodies and love to try new places. Occasionally we go to Dave & Buster’s and goof around. We also sometimes end up on weird spontaneous car trips and/or adventures. Like one Saturday, we decided to go to a ton of different Asian markets.

Our last date was to a self-serve yogurt bar, Yogurt Mountain. You self-serve your frozen yogurt (one of 16 flavors) and then choose any (or all?! ok, maybe not) 60 toppings. You pay by the ounce. So very, very cool.
@Miss Tattoo: There is a shop with a similar self-serve concept in Pittsburgh– y’all should give it a try!
