We usually go to dinner and/or a movie. Sometimes we stay home and play a video game together or have a board game night. 🙂 We make time to watch a show (Big Bang Theory, Glee, 24, Chuck, or Community) 4+ times a week and just snuggle on the couch while watching! 🙂

Bars are no fun. I’m 22 and am over that scene. J is 27 and has been over it awhile himself. Especially after working as a bouncer in one. Anyways, we have set at least one night a month for “date night” where we will go out to eat, go to the movies, or do something completely random and fun. I think our next date night will be at bingo. It’s so much fun.

Go out to eat, go see a movie, have a card or board game night (does that even count?),

We have date night every Friday or Saturday night. We go out for dinner, hit a movie, go to a local wine bar for drinks, do something with friends, sometimes hit the mall. Sometimes we go to a sporting event.

Fiance actually has to work on the weekends, but we try to go out for drinks/apps a few nights a week. My schedule can get crazy too, so sometimes it’s like the only time we can be together to chat… Not so great for the waistline though!

Our work schedules are completely different, and SO frequently works in the evenings so we take date nights when we can! Most often, one of us will cook a nice dinner, and then we play games. The ‘usuals’ are yahtzee, scrabble, uno, or monopoly if we have a couple hours. Sometimes we’ll watch movies all snuggly on the couch.
In the summer time we are all about brew pubs and patios. We’ve got quite a bit of great pubs with patios that make great beer within a 15 minute bike ride from our apartment. Sometimes we’ll bring a pack of cards along, too, to play some games on the patio.
When we’re lucky, SO’s dad sends giftcards to the movie theater or we’ll catch a free night at a museum. Summertime also brings soccer games. Geez this thread is getting me amped for summer.

We like to do a lot of things. We go to bars, but not for date night. That is more fun with other people. For date night, we almost ALWAYS end up at a movie theater. Beforehand it’s usually Chili’s to eat and have a margarita. We also love to go bowling. But movies and food are our first choices, definitely.

we stay in, order from our favorite sushi restaurant, order a movie and call it our “date night!” we really look forward to it since we work different shifts!

We have a few favorite standbys:
We live near the shore, so we go to the boardwalk a lot. We also like to drive around the beach towns and “take the long way home” and pick out all our favorite beach houses that we’d buy if we were millionaires.
He’s got a firepit in the backyard, so we do “beer and cheese” night a lot. We are both beer geeks so we buy a few varieties, get a cheese to go with each, and sit by the fire. Sometimes we invovle our friends in this as well although then it usually just turns into a BBQ. On teh beer note, we do breweries and beer gardens a lot too.
We both love Brooklyn so we spend random afternoons every now and then in Williamsburg hanging out.
Plus there seems to be a Weezer concert every month (I like Weezer but they are alwayyyys on tour adn it is a little much), movies sometimes, and I never get tired of dinner out.
