@MrsSl82be: Haha! Yeah, I made the bodies comment to my Fiance in front of the salesman. He went right along with it though! 😀

I drive a 2008 Nissan Altima and it’s a GREAT car!  Safe, big enough for stuff when needed.  The trunk is very large.  I’ve been averaging 24 MPG and 32 MPH which I think is pretty awesome.

I have a 2002 Hyundai Sonata and I love it. My next car will definately be a Hyundai. It still gets between 25-30 mpg, and with 141, 000 miles we haven’t had to do anything but regular maintainence. I would recommend getting one to anyone.

I still drive my 01′ VW Jetta and it drives like a brand new car, but doesn’t have all the bells & whistles like the beeping when in reverse, built in phone, sirius radio, etc.

I got in two car accidents when I was 17 (I’m 28 now).  First one someone made a left hand turn in front of me.  Totaled my car (’89 Toyota Corolla).  Second one I was rear ended on the freeway (other car was going really fast, so it’s not like it was a slow speed bump).  I STILL find myself hesitating when going through an intersection or past someone that’s going to be turning, and I ALWAYS look in my rearview when I have to stop on the freeway.  I don’t think those reactions will ever go away, so I feel you there.

Now, onto your question:  I drive a 2004 Chevy Classic (cheaper version of Malibu). I get good gas mileage (about 26 miles/gal) but I do want something bigger.  I like to be able to see what’s going on beyond the car in front of me, and I can’t really do that in my car.  But I’m broke so it is what it is and the car is just fine for now.  🙂

i drive a 2003 mercedes c320 sport sedan.  i’m planning on making it last for as long as possible.  the parents bought it for me as a college graduation present.  it has abou 50,000 miles on it since i don’t drive much.  it was rated as the safest sedan on the market.  the gas mileage sucks but my commute is aabout 7-10 mins so i fill up about every three weeks or so.  the bf just traded his 2009 subaru for a brand new subaru.  it’s great in the snow.

’05 Chevy Equinox:  I love it!  Bought it new.  It is an SUV but drives like a car which is very impressive for an SUV. Previously I had a Ford Escape, Dodge Durango, and the ex had a Ford Explorer.  All drive like trucks, though I would get another Escape. Besides having such a smooth ride for an SUV the “silly” thing that sold me was that the back seat can be scooted back and forward.  At the time my kids were 11 and 13 and my son was tall with long legs, getting taller!  I figured he’d appreciate the room. Now, my kids are driving and occasionally I ride in the back.  I’m very impressed with the leg room back there and I like the stadium seating back there as well.
