This may have been done before, but I wanna hear ’em!
What do you say when you’re referring to your period? Do you use different names when you’re talking to your friends vs. your SO?
If I’m talking to my friends, I usually say “my period” or “my rag” (haha, ew, it’s just occurred to me that this thread may have lots of oversharing). One of my BMs tells me that she’s “riding the cotton pony“, lol! I know on the baby/pregnancy/TTC boards, it’s usually referred to as “Aunt Flo“. My mom used to call it “The Curse“. When I tell my Fiance, I usually call it “my thing” or just tell him that “I’m bleeding” (which is usually followed up by him saying, “Eeeeeeeww” hahaha).
What do you ladies call it when it’s that time of the month?

My coworker calls in “smoking cigars.” I asked her why and she said because her Fiance says tampons are shaped like cigars….it’s weird!

I just call it my period and my Fiance refers to it the same way.
We’re boring. Haha

I jokingly call it “my womanlies.” And sometimes when my husband knows I’m having my “womanlies” he sometimes asks me how my “lady parts” are doing.

I’m clearly very immature, because your answers are cracking me up!

I call it my period or menses/menstruation. I’m boring. My sister calls it “the dot.”
