My main collections are fire-king, costume jewelry, and vintage barware (gold printed glasses).

I would like to start collecting antique beaded purses.

I used to collect little wooden boxes made all over the country.  I had about 6 of them, but they are hard to display.  Nothing too crazy!

Now I think I “collect” Anthropologie dresses.  I find them on eBay.

@RenoSweeney24:  That is cool!  Can you recommend your favorite games that two people can play?  We’re about Monopolied out.  12 days in a row now we’ve played it!

I’ve been collecting shot glasses since I was 10 which was way before I knew what to do with them.  I have also been collecting Barbies for many years.  Recently, I started collecting skeleton keys.  My favorite ones are on a ring.  They remind me of jailer’s keys.  I also have 3 gas masks, and I’d like to collect more of those.

I’m not really into collecting things (I don’t want to have to store, display or dust things).

However, I do have a small collection of those souvenir pennies that you get smashed in a machine. They are kind of a fun thing to get on vacations and don’t take up any storage space at all. Wink

I also have quite a few handmade quilts, mostly vintage. I don’t know that I’d say I collect them though. Also, I do have quite a few vintage Pyrex mixing bowls. I have some from both my grandmothers, and just a bunch of random ones. I don’t know that I’d say it’s a collection though since I actually use them when I cook. 🙂

i collect bottle caps. i have been for a while but have not decided what to do with them. i also collect wine corks for art projects, shells, and pretty much anything on the beach i find cool like a rock. i find a lot of random pretty rocks in my pockets.

shot glasses are my oldest. with places i have been or where friends have brought me back one. has to include the city or state. in college a lot of people thought they could just use them and throw them in the sink so some have broken. but ive started to build up again.. i dont even take shots i just started collecting them. i do have my “useable” ones as well. the ones i dont care if they brake but i have one from every trip i take. i also like to get my friends one when im on a trip. i also collect cards from resturants, tattoo shops, work places, idk random places i really like or never want to forget. i still have them all in my purse(its not for every place only the elite ;-))

i am also a book horder… we moved to a smaller place and it was so hard. Darling Husband was like we have tooo many books. and im just like ” in ten years how will i fill our future dream “beauty and the beast” library!!!”” ahhhh lol

Apparently I collect extra pounds.  LOL, but I’m trying to eliminate my “collection” this year.

Bath and body products!  Although I’ve declared a moratorium until I use up what I have – we live in a small apartment and it was getting a little ridiculous.

I used to love greeting cards but I haven’t collected them in a while.  I want to figure out a good way to frame/display them if we ever get a bigger place.  I love anything with a quote on it!  These are 2 of my favorite cards – I think I bought 3 of each of them!

soontobeMrsBoo: your entire post made me laugh out loud, thanks:)

I’ve been collecting wine for about 10 years, sadly it’s a very expensive, slow-going (but delicious!) hobby 🙂

It really took some thinking to figure out what I collect, and I guess it would be dvds and perfume.

It’s not that I go out of my way to aquire these items, I just have ALOT. I love trying out new perfumes, and of course, it takes awhile to use a bottle so they just kind of keep piling up.

We also watch ALOT of dvds, everytime we go shopping we purchase a couple more for the collection.

I don’t really have any “hardcore” collections, though.
