    I agree this is almost impossible to answer. I am 5.2, so if I were a 10, I think I would be “full figured”, but one of my good friends is 5.9 and a size 10, and proportionately skinnier than I am at a size 2, so it’s all relative!

    @MattieK:  This.

    Size is relative.  A 6 foot tall woman who’s a size 14 and a 5 foot tall woman who’s a size 14 have vastly different bodies.  I saw a lingerie ad recently that featured a “plus size” model (she was a 14, I think).  But the catch is, she was 6’1.  Her body shape is about the same as mine, and I’m a size 2 (but only 5′ tall).  If I were a 14, I’d look WAY different than she looks.

    Size 16 and up definitely.  I don’t even consider size 14 to be full-figured.  I consider it to be voluptuous but not full-figured.

    I cant answer that properly because everyone wears their sizes differently based on body build - that, and I am a size 4, so without offending anyone, Im not sure what those sizes actually look like.

    @cassy.thompson1:  i’m with you.

    And whoever said size 10 is full figured, don’t make me come sit on you. I’d kill for a size 10 body. I’m not trying to be rude or mean or anything, but i’d seek counseling if you think you’re fat. You have obvious self image issues.

    NO worries if people think a 10 is “plus sized” because I see someone who is a 2 or 4 and immediately want to offer a cheeseburger. Neither thought process is socially responsible or realistic! I’ve been every size in between so I’m blessed with perspective – yay! 🙂

    The bottom line is that no matter what SIZE you are it’s how you FEEL. A woman who feels “fat” or “ugly” could be a size 2, whereas a “10” could be the most confident radiant beauty who ever walked the planet! If a woman has convinced that she is fat no numeric assigment on a fashion label will change that!

    I consider anything street size 10 and up to be full figured. This poll was about opinions so all of you getting your panties in a bunch over those responses about size 10s being full-figured need to lay off. To each their own. It’s a POLL. It’s perfectly acceptable to think a street size 10 is full figured!

    I think people’s point of reference is going to be skewed based on where they shop… i’m 5’7″, 130lbs, and identify as a small or a 2/4, but at some places i’m an xxs or a 00, so yeah, there, I think plus sized starts at 10, but other stores i wouldn’t think plus-sized starts until 14/16. in today’s day and age sizing numbers are so arbitrary, it’s impossible to have a hard and fast line of xx = plus-sized.

    I’m going to join all the other PPs that expressed shock at a size 10 being full figured. WHAT!? That’s absolutely absurd! And sad.

    There should have been an option labeled “Me” LOL

    I consider myself to be plus sized becasue of the shape I’m in and my body fat percentage, but I don’t think my size (size 9/10) is nessesaily “plus sized”

    @cassy.thompson1:  I agree with you completely! These little tiny ladies fullfigured? No. I say size 16/18 anything before that is pretty normal I would say.

    Since this is an opinion poll I am just going to base my answer on my own size, height, weight, etc.

    For me, I would classify myself as full-figured if I wore a 16 or larger. I am between a 10 and 12 (street size) right now, and I think I look pretty decent.
