I agree that to be small, it would have to be under 50

40 or 50 tops. I’m going to be having a small wedding. Maybe 20-30 people. Maybe less lol. It can be hard I not feel guilty excluding some people. But for a small intimate wedding you can’t invite everyone. And I agree if the wedding is already deep in the planning process you really have to think of the venue size, food, space etc

jessiebearsb:  i think over 50 is not small, i say 0-10 is intamiate, 10-50 small, 50-100 medium and then untill 200 its big then after that its DANG

jessiebearsb:  I was gonna say the same thing. Around 25 or less is very small and intimate. More than 25 to 50 guests is small. Fifty-plus to 90-plus is medium sized and anything 100 and above is large for me.

We had about 40 adult guests and 10 or so children. I definitely considered it a small wedding. Most weddings I’ve been to have been over 100 ppl so anything less than that feels small to me.

Underneathe 100 is small to me.  I considered our Destination Wedding to be small and we had a tad over 70 people.

Depends on the family.  Huge weddings are normal in our family, so anything below 100 is small. 100-200 is medium, and anything above 200 is huge.  I believe it may be a cultural misunderstanding, as Italian, African, and Indian weddings are often 300+.

I consider weddings below 100 guests as a small wedding.

I’m in Northern Wisconsin and most weddings I go to are very modest. Because of this, lots of people can be invited. I’m in the frame of mind that anything less than 100 is small.
