What do you do if you already have a full home and don’t need to register for home goods???
-Just don’t register for anything at all and don’t put anything on your invitations regarding gifts??
-Other ideas??

We’re registering for some upgrades, and just general facelifts in the area of home decor. Our registry will still be bare compared to, say, a couple who never lived together. We were thinking of setting up a honeymoon registry, but not sure how that will be seen… I figure besides that, people will just give cash or checks once the registry is bought up.

Honeymoon registry, stock registry, mortgage registry, camping/sporting goods registry, random home stuff registry… I mean there are a ton of options! You just have to pick the one that’s right for you. 🙂

Whatever you decide, mentioning gifts on the invite is usually in poor taste. And no matter what you put there will be people who totally ignore you and do what they want anyway :-/ I would say make a really small registry that includes a couple upgrades (everyone can always use new towels, for instance) and leave it at that. People will get the idea that you have everything and most likely give you money instead.

I agree with lilyfaith! You could definitely register for upgrades or donations for you honeymoon.
But if you really don’t feel like you need anything, then get the word out that you don’t want anything. Don’t mention it on the invite and do do it by word of mouth.

Yeah… I’m not sure where, just google it! For a honeymoon one, I know Honeyfund is popular. MyRegistry.com will let you register for cash gifts, and let you provide a description of what it’s for, in addition to anything that’s sold online. The others… I don’t know anything about, really. Sorry!

Oh, and you don’t put it on your invites. Instead, either make a wedding website and put it on there, or tell people/spread it by word of mouth. 🙂 Hope that helps!
