I love reading. There’s nothing like curling up in a blanket with a good book (on my reader…)

I’ve also been sewing more recently, today we actually just went and bought some furniture to set up my sewing station in a loft area we have. And I just bought a new serger.

Writing,  painting, ballet, reading, sewing ( anything house related, can’t do clothes!), quilting, and watching documentaries and movies, along with whatever bbc series I’m obsessed with and the trash tv I watch in secret ( ID shhh!).

I do watercolor and recently joined plein air club and a paleontological society.  I’m usually the youngest person by 30-50 years.  Watercolor’s proved to be a very challenging hobby, and something I’ll be working on for the rest of my life.

@futuremrsk18:  I like to garden and cook. Lately I’ve been sewing a lot. Made my niece doll accessories (pillow, messenger bag, hair stuff, books) and I’ve been embroidering some of my canvas shoes. It’s fun and my laptop is broken, so it keeps me busy for now 🙂

For me I love to read, I’m about to start sewing (really excited about that) as soon as I get my machine, I do a lot of oil landscape paintings (if you get a BOB Ross kit it’s REALLY easy and comes with a DVD to show you how to paint a pretty landscape) I only use the Bob Ross method now. My husband and I are history enthusiasts so we like to go explore the history within a 2 hour drive. We just picked up tennis as well which is pretty fun and gets you a LOT of exercise. I grew up in Hilton Head SC, there’s a lot to do if you’re into history beaches tennis or golf around there lol.

It really depends on what interests you.

Darling Husband and I both play tennis and have joined a local tennis team.  We also do a bowling league with a couple of friends and get out and golf when the weather is nice.

I also do a lot of pleasure reading.

@futuremrsk18:  I have more time on my hands and moved in with the SO so I’ve been cooking more. The SO was a bachelor for a LONG time and ate basically the same things every day so I’m trying to learn new, fun recipes to keep it interesting. A couple years ago I bought a camera and to get familiar with it I did the “Photo a Day” thing. It was pretty cool and is fun to look back on. I plan to do it again for the year of engagement and maybe the first year of marriage.

Your local community college probably has an extension course. You could take a class on something interesting. I used to teach knitting classes at mine and took pottery, bartending and cupcake decorating classes. There are also creative writing and guitar classes I’m thinking of taking next semester.

@suburbian:  +1 to fostering, it’s awesome to see them go into good homes.

To OP, I love to cook, garden and craft (polymer clay, crocheting, sewing, painting, throwing, etc) .  I’m currently making wedding invitations for a close friend of mine (I’ll probably be making her cake topper too).

Lots of things, which is why I don’t always get around to all of them regularly. I like horse riding, painting in oils or acrylics, sketching, killing plants (gardening), cooking, playing music badly, walking and reading.

I enjoy cooking, reading and gardening. We also brew and bottle our own beer. My husband plays hockey so I love going to watch him play. And I drag race during the summer as well.
