Other than going to the eliptical and a few weight machines I’m clueless in the gym.
So, when you walk into the gym whre do you go? Cardio and then some weights? How long before you move areas? How many reps do you do?

@Lava: Are there group fitness classes at your gym? I used to do elliptical/treadmil/weights, but I lost motivation quickly. Now I do group fitness classes and they are so fun! I get much better workouts too.

I start with the elipticals for about 20-30 minutes. They have TVs on each one, so if there is a good show on, I’ll stay on longer. Then I to the machines and for each machine I do a different amount. I spend some time on the stationary bike and end on the eliptical. I get bored a lot, so I’ll switch up the routine every now and again.

@Nicoley1985: Typically that’s what I do because I know I’ll get a good workout in. However, I have a membership at a university’s rec center and the classes only go on when school is in session. It’s in between spring and summer semesters so I’m stuck braving the gym equipment myself.
