I am feeling very sad today. DH and I are in a LDR (1.5 hours) and see each other on weekends and 1 night a week. This weekend is his college reunion. I went to some of the events, but they get a little boring when it’s not your college. I thought we would get to spend a lot of time together this afternoon before he heads back, but there are several parties he wants to go to that won’t be fun for me. I think he should go- he rarely gets to see these people, but I still just feel sad and lonely.
Several of my friends are out of town or have plans today, so that doesn’t work well.
Any suggestions? Thanks!

If it’s nice out I like to go down to the hiking trail and go for a walk! Being outside and getting some fresh air makes me feel better. 🙂

Give yourself a mani/pedi, have a beer, watch a girly movie. Cook yourself a nice dinner of your choice- salmon, steak, whatever.
That’s what I do when Darling Husband is out of town- hope you feel better!

@guitargirl: Watch a movie, have a cocktail and take a nap. I love that I sleep so well and wake up feeling like a million bucks.

-Find the most delicious cookie recipie you can find and bake them.
-Eat your favorite takeout food.
