Reading always helps me de-stress because it completely takes your mind off of what you’re stressed about and onto the story you’re reading! Also this might sounds totally silly but coloring also helps- its not just for kids!

I de stress like a typical guy de stresses! I put on loud rock n roll. I watch the game and have a beer. And I am learning not to rush to vent to my family and friends because I sometimes get myself more upset if I don’t know how to express the stressful situation yet or if I don’t know what i am wanting by sharing the problem (listening? advice? a fun outing?) sometimes just as my guy friends allow themselves time to process a stressful situation and they lay low a bit, I’m finding this works for me to reduce stress.
Prayer also helps me a lot but I realize that some people do not find the idea of it helpful!
