@freshflowers:  I have a gig singing with a church choir. Only a few hours a week and I get paid a fair amount for it. It’s what’s paying for my wedding dress at the moment.

In the summer I have a business where I sell daylilies to pay for school. I also buy and sell storage units with my dad and I fix up and sell furniture on Craigslist.

I trade clothes with women and then sell them to stores like uptwon and platos and then trade again and I just keep on trading and selling.

I don’t do anything regularly to earn side money, but I was an extra in a movie this past year.  It was pretty easy and paid very well!

I dog/house sit. I like doing it because I can still do everything i would normally do, like work my regular job, but still make extra money. It’s not very steady though because it all depends on when the people are going out of town.

I work as a princess at kids’ birthday parties! It’s fun to dress up, of course, and it’s soooo great to see how happy it makes the kids! Plus it pays pretty well! On an average weekend I make 200-ish dollars, so that adds up to about 10K a year! Not really “side job” money, but it’s really only on the weekends and I don’t consider it my full-time job.

I have a website that I started seven years ago and put good ads on back in 2011, it’s now grown so I’m making $2-300 a month in peak months and $1-200 the rest of the time.  It’s very helpful!

I edit and tutor, which pays a ton but is really limited hours.

I tutor and do some work for a marketing company, both pay pretty well but getting hours can be tough!

I sell things I don’t need on eBay, you’d be really surprised at the crap other people want to buy!

I love seeing all the ebay bees! I go to local thrift stores (usually with 50% off coupons), and buy stuff to resell on ebay. During the school year I usually don’t get out so my sales slow down, but in the summer and during breaks, I list a ton and make about 200-500/month

@freshflowers:  Sometimes I find nice clothing items at the thrift shop – a brand name or something I have seen still on the internet for sale.  I then sell it on eBay after I’ve looked up the items info.  Or I just sell my own clothes. I’ve averaged about $50 for the past 5 months.

I am looking into becoming a wedding officiant.  I would love to become the area’s only hiking/skiing/boating wedding officiant and I would like to specialize in small weddings/elopements.  I know when we were looking for someone to officiate our wedding in the mountains, none of the JOPs listed were healthy enough to do a 1 mile hike.  I called them all!  It wouldn’t generate any money for a while as I’d have to do a lot for free to build some credibility.  My husband plays the guitar so we could be a team!

My coworker donates plasma and gets $250 per month (I am not sure how many times he goes, but he’s a single dad and needs the cash).

I’m curious what “good ads” are!
