Hot bath, lay on the couch under a big fluffy blanket, try to stay hydrated, and watch trashy tv.

I get pretty whiny and mean when I’m sick, I don’t mean to, I do just awful! [Poor Fiance, he is a good sport!].

Honestly, if the flu is so bad to where I don’t continue my daily activities, I try to sleep it off. If I can’t sleep, I’ll watch tv, browse the internet. I TRY to drink alot of fluids, but it’s hard. On a normal day I doubt I drink more than 20 oz of anything And soup.

When I am able I take a really hot shower, and that normally clears up my breathing/nose.

Panic about all the time off I’m using (I’m a “paid time off” hoarder). When I get my yearly flu on a weekend I usually actually get pretty excited. Sad, I know.

@pookiesmom:  I always put Vicks Vapourub on the soles of my feet and put a pair of socks on over the top. I don’t know why, but it works! Makes my symptoms disappear in half the time! Weird. Goodluck! πŸ™‚
