jaimie479:  compromise….meet half way…if he wants 10 and you want 50….that would be around 20-25 guests….he can have no groomsmen and you can have bridesmaids….and/or 1 Maid/Matron of Honor and best man..

and just because you have a small wedding it doesn’t mean that you can’t walk down the aisle and have a wedding…

our wedding had 38 guests. Including the bridal party. 40 total if you include the husband and myself. I planned the wedding I wanted. Just in a smaller scale. I walked the down the aisle with my mom and dad. You can still get married in a church if you wanted…nothing changes. Just instead of a big ballroom, you might rent out a resturant or a smaller venue instead and either save money; or spend the same amount of money and upgrade on fancier things if wanted.

jaimie479:  You’re welcome.  My suggestionsto you are, more or less, what my hubbie and I did when we were planning -the process can be stressful.  The things I found most important were; making sure we listened to each other’s ideas (even if we didn’t agree with them) and compromise.  We had a wedding that we both loved.  Trust me.  It’s all going to work out.
