Swebs14:  I am thankful to say that Darling Husband is never away for the night or weekend.

But if he were, I would probably go to Krispy Kreme for takeout and have a chick flick fest on Netflix.

With a few Cosmopolitans thrown in.

And a baggy old pair of sweats, and a T-shirt with no bra.

I work the 9-5 but Fiance has a different roster each week, so often he’ll take camping trips without me or has to go away for a bit for work.  I love having a spa bath, watching trashy TV, catch up on some girl time with friends, read a book (I ALWAYS get interrupted) and hang out with my housemates.

I only get annoyed when he forgets to tell me he has something planned until last minute.  I don’t like to find out on a Friday that he’s leaving for a trip and won’t be back until Tuesday because I like to be able to plan my alone time haha.  Is that weird?  He used to do it a bit but he hasn’t forgotten to tell me for ages 🙂

Swebs14:  My husband doesn’t travel or go anywhere, but we do work opposite schedules so our daughter doesn’t have to be in daycare just yet.  So when we’re not together, I take that time and go on weddingbee (lame, I know) but I also bake.  I love to bake and I don’t get that time when he’s around.

My Fiance is doing research in the US for 6 months. Half way there…  and apart from skype him when the time difference allows… Watch girly movies that he would hate. Phone my mum and talk for hours because he won’t tell me to get off. Go for really long walks and see new stuff. Clean and organise all of his stuff. Wedding planning 😀

Eat chocolate (and McDonalds haha)!!

I come up with projects beforehand. Next weekend, I’m going to the gyn twice and then buying materials to make blackboards (for signs etc) for the wedding. I can’t wait! I’ve found this new blackboard paint in the shops and I’m desperate to do a little female DIY without a backseat driver 😛

Swebs14: Love this thread

memorieslff: I like the dessert idea, I may do that next time

Mrs. Milk Cow: Love the Gilmore Girls, it never tires with me. I didn’t know it was on Netflix, will have to check that out

Like others mine’s watching what he’d call trash TV. I have a mission for when he’s not around; getting back from work on time, so I can then take the dogs for a walk, cook an easy dinner, shower and ta-dah! be sat watching my trash ASAP.

Dim the lights and watch trashy reality tv. Usually with no proper dinner and some sort of chocolatey dessert…
