I look at pictures or watch snow white and eat a piece of dark chocolate. If I’m really feeling down I watch videos of puppies that are the same breed as my dog.
Do you guys have anything you do that instantly cheers you up?

@Mrs_Amanda: Ohh! Shopping, <3 It tends to be a bit dangerous when I’m depressed though. lol. As for the baking, does buying baked goods count. Lol

Shopping..I go anywhere, or I even do it online if I am too lazy. I like to go alone when I am feeling down so I can just clear my head…it really works for me, by time I get home I forget what I am sad about. lol.

when i’m down, i feel an urgent need to hear my SO’s voice so i call him up. if he’s unavailable (at work etc) i usually go for a cocktail with my BFF.

Sometimes I sleep it off.
Last week, when I was feeling really upset about something that had happened (wedding-related), I made a big long list of all the things that went GREAT that day. That helped a lot and helped me to see how tiny that one thing was in comparison to an otherwise awesome day.
I think I’ll use that technique again the next time I’m upset about something. It’s hard to feel down when you’re facing a long list of things that are positive!
