Shopping..I go anywhere, or I even do it online if I am too lazy. I like to go alone when I am feeling down so I can just clear my head…it really works for me, by time I get home I forget what I am sad about. lol.

when i’m down, i feel an urgent need to hear my SO’s voice so i call him up. if he’s unavailable (at work etc) i usually go for a cocktail with my BFF.

It depends on why I’m feeling sad…but usually either bake (and eat haha), write, or run.

@wederly:  cry and let my feelings out. it helps me then after i have let it all out i try and cheer myself up. watch a movie clean my closet or retail therapy always works for me ; ) go to the flea market or walmart, Ross dress shopping or shoe shopping ; ) I’m a big shoe whore hahaha

or a big help is changing my house around. curtain color buying a new bed spread set.

Sometimes I sleep it off.

Last week, when I was feeling really upset about something that had happened (wedding-related), I made a big long list of all the things that went GREAT that day.  That helped a lot and helped me to see how tiny that one thing was in comparison to an otherwise awesome day.

I think I’ll use that technique again the next time I’m upset about something.  It’s hard to feel down when you’re facing a long list of things that are positive!
