Have you thought of making a few into scrapbooks for your future children (if you are in fact wanting kids, I know I’m being super presumptious in that so I’m sorry ahead of time if I’m overstepping)? But I would think that it would be a super cute lead in to their lives 🙂 It might be a bit much but I think it would be amazing when they look back at their life, to have a copy of your original invitation.

I only had a few extra so I framed one and turned a couple into a Christmas ornament. I shredded it up and stuffed it in a Clear glass craft ball.

Tossed all but 2 or 3 to frame and just have.

Put a few in plastic bags to keep them nice until your wedding and then you will have them for pictures.  I love the pictures of the invitations from wedding details photos, alot of them are some of my favorites.

Invites do get lost in the mail or returned undelivered. The extras can be used if this happens.

You might give one set to the photographers. I’ve seen some nice photos of the invites displayed at the reception.

Give to parents and grandparents as keepsakes.

I scrapbooked a couple of mine, too, and set one out on the card table at our reception (on the front of our birdcage cardholder, because our invites had little birds on them).  I really like the idea of turning one into an ornament!!  How creative!

At my friend’s wedding, her centerpieces were wine bottles painted in their colors, with an invitation glued around the bottle like a label.  They were neat!

Invite famous people! Seriously, grab the addresses of your favorite celebrities, The Presedent, Mickey and Minnie mouse etc. lots of them will send you back a cool RSVP letter if you invite them.

I know you don’t do Christmas, but figured I’d post a picture since “I stuffed it in an ornament” wasn’t the most flattering description, and it does seem like others are wondering!
