    Never really thought about it...

No! They are like our children.

Yes. It makes no difference to us.

    Other. Please explain.

He gets a very concerned look on his face cause he thinks daddy is hurting mommy. Bless his heart!

My dog is very interested, so we usually have to put him in another room.

We lock our dogs out of the room because they will try to get between us and lick our faces or cuddle up to us…weird! We used to have a cat that we didn’t care if he was around, but he would stare at us the whole time.

Our dog is usually content to be crated or asleep during the deed.

If our cat is on the bed etc when we start he will leave, but there are times that he will jump up onto the bed in the middle of it and be like “hey guys, what’s going on?…ooooooooh..” then he leaves because he thinks we are strange 😛

We kick our dog off the bed but he just lays down at the end of the bed on the floor until we call him back up! I dont think he ever “watches” lol

I know this is A super old post but this happened to me and Dh last night. Only thing is when I suggested to lock the dog out of the room DH felt bad and didn’t want her to be alone. I felt so awkward having our dog stare at me and immediately I wasn’t in the mood anymore. I totally got rejected. Needless to say I don’t think I’ll be in the mood to get it on anytime soon :/

    Love this thread!

Our cat doesn’t watch us. She will be in the room for a little while and not make a peep, until she starts walking away making “humph” noises. It is almost like she is disgusted by what we are doing! Laughing Maybe that is because she is a virgin.

We take all three dogs into the living room and close the door.

@lalalalinzii:  our dogs follow us everywhere. are german shepherd isnt aloud on the bed but our pomeranian is and she will sit like an inch from my face and stare at me if my and my spouse are doing anything..then we open our eyes and its so akward! lol. so they usually get put outside or in there crates when we want to have private time. we have a fenced in backyrd which has been so great for times like that! and if its raining i just say “who needs a nap!?” .lol.

shower sex is ok. we have the dogs in the bathroom when we take showers anyway but i feel the shower door is enough seperation that i dont feel them staring at us.

We don’t kick them out but we do move to the bed now. We were..uh..playing around on our couch one day and I was going down on my Fiance both of us not paying attention to anything else and then all of a sudden our dog got a solid lick in!! Fiance was mortified! Ever since, we’ve been very certain to be out of reach hahaha

@mrs.peters.to.be:  lol omg NO! we have dogs and they would just stare at us. Our chi-weenie always tries to creep in the middle of our kisses so I can’t imagine.

Our dogs aren’t allowed in our room though so it’s not something we have to worry about.

We have let them roam around in the past. Our one kitten is pretty good about it. He will sometimes jump up on the bed and stare, but usually he just keeps to his bed and naps because he knows he won’t get attention. Our other kitten hasn’t quite grasped the concept of staying away yet, so he goes into our master bathroom because he likes to sit on the toilet cozy. My dog kinda just lays there with a look on his face like, “meh, I’m used to this.”
