What do you do with your ring at the gym?

I put mine on the necklace I always wear. That way I can see and feel that it’s always there. I’m too paranoid to let it out of my sight.

My mom is a personal trainer and body builder. She wears her rings on a necklace when she’s at the gym.

I would never leave anything valuable in a gym locker. Those things are super easy to break into.

I have a silicone Qualo ring that I wear to the gym which came with a little zipper pouch. I put my engagement ring in that pouch, in my glove box, lock the glove box, and lock my car. I am lucky enough to live in an area where car theft isn’t a huge issue. I do a lot of high intensity stuff, so I don’t wear a necklace either. That goes in my little pouch too. I’d never leave anything in a gym locker.

So far, I’m the only dummy who trusts gym lockers, haha. I vote necklace as PPs have suggested, or glove box in locked car, if you don’t fear car theft.

I put my ring in my sports bra when I’m doing anything that’s not cardio.

I only wear my wedding band to the gym. I leave my engagement ring at home so I don’t damage them when I lift.

If you are going to the gym straight after work, then I would suggest as others before me, to wear it on the necklace.

march2018brideboston :  never would leave my ring in a locker in fact I’m not sure my insurance would cover that. I never take my ring off unless I’m showering. If it’s not on me it’s in the safe deposit box. I don’t know what to say about the weightlifting. I would risk messing up the ring rather than having it get lost or stolen

wear a longer necklace, loop your ring on and tuck that in to your bra 🙂 that way it won’t fly off if you forget and take your bra off after your workout, but you also won’t have your necklace bouncing around and risk breaking the necklace/losing the ring. DOUBLE THE SAFE.

but really, I don’t wear it to the gym.

I wear mine. If I’m punching then I may swing the diamond around. They’re tough.

I usually leave my rings at home, but if I don’t I actually have this litle zip up pocket on the inside of my leggings that I put them in. It’s like up near the waistband (I’m sure I look like a total weirdo when putting them in or taking them out lol). They aren’t bulky so they don’t bother me in there and they’re still on my person.

I only wear my ring at the gym if I’m doing cardio only. If I’m using equipment or when I’m doing martial arts I leave my ring in a small travel box in the glove compartment of my car. I’d highly recommend NOT wearing a ring at all unless it is silicone when lifting weights or doing anything like that. Not because the ring will be damaged, but because if your ring happens to get caught on anything you risk serious injury to your finger. If you’re worried about leaving your ring in your car, you can put it on a necklace like others have said.

I put mine in one of these!  I have a super thin micropave band which was starting to warp after wearing it to the gym for 3 years and lifting.

This cost me $10 and I’m just able to slip my 3 rings inside and zip them up.  They come in different styles and patterns.  Basically it’s a wrist wrap with a hidden zipper pouch.
