Hot oatmeal, with ground flax, slivered almonds and skim milk on weekdays. I sweeten with a little maple syrup and a handful of pomegranate seeds.  Also, coffee with one tsp sugar and skim milk.  

One the weekends I usually scramble eggs with turkey bacon, green onions and shredded cheese or make 10-grain pancakes (for my son only).  I try to stay away from carbs as much as possible…

2 scrambled eggs cooked in coconut oil (my SIL turned me on to this – SO good!) and depending on my mood and what’s available I’ll mix in cheese or spinach.

Anyone ever tried chia seed pudding for breakfast? You can make it the night before 🙂 I love it! 

Couple table spoons of chia seeds mixed with half a cup of almond or coconut milk and then a dash of cinnamon and a teasooon of vanilla essence and then you can add honey or maple syrup for sweetness and then either sliced pear or apple or banana or dates or berries. I leave mine to thicken overnight in the fridge in a mason jar. It’s super filling and chia seeds are really good for you 🙂 

and then matcha green tea or a coffee depending on my mood 🙂

Right now we are doing Vega one breakfast shakes (vanilla-veggie powder that I mix with ice and almond milk). I’m not a breakfast person and like that I can sip on it throughout the morning. Otherwise I will have peanut butter toast or toast with cheese and avocado. Occasionally on the weekends we will get bacon egg and cheese bagels or something delicious from our Sunday farmers market. I only drink water in the morning. Coffee gives me a huge headache and makes me nauseated. Even just reading about you guys who don’t eat in the morning but who drink multiple cups of coffee makes me feel sick!

I usually have overnight oats with chia, almond milk, Greek or coconut yoghurt and berries. Usually top with banana and nuts/seeds. A few times a week I will have an omelette with 4/5 eggs spinach, chicken and tomatoes.

For my commute I also take a veg juice that I will have pre chopped the night before and blitz in the morning. I’m not necessarily hungry for it, but my job is so busy in the morning that I might not sit down again for another six hours.

My treat breakfast every few weeks or so is “protein” pancakes. Make them with oats, banana, cinnamon, almonds and eggs. SO YUM. I used to make them with protein powder but I just couldn’t get used to the taste so I have a protein shake after the gym instead.

Either lots of fresh fruit and fat free greek yogurt or if I know I’ve a busy morning and j have time something more filling (so today wholemeal toast, boiled egg and some watermelon and a latte with skimmed milk about an hour later) I love breakfast and even if km running really late I’ll still grab a banana and apple to eat in the car.

Fresh pastry (almond croissants at the moment but a danish or pain au chocolat is more usual), black coffee, and a litre of water.

I didn’t used to have anything at all, because I’d be too full for lunch, but the sugar seems to kick start everything without being too filling. More importantly, there’s a bakery on my way to work 🙂

My breakfast is rather boring usually, brown toast with butter, orange juice and some earl grey tea. On weekends bacon sandwiches.

I eat overnight oats during the week and cold cereal on the weekends.  I love overnight oats- they keep me full without being too heavy in the morning.  You can also change it up easily by adding different fruit.

Weekdays two eggs and a chicken sausage with tea, so thankful for weekend prep so I can just microwave them every morning. 

Weekends I will make buckwheat pancakes with honey and fresh berries or pumpkin stuffed french toast.

A protien shake within 30 minutes of getting up and then weekdays, I have an Oscar Meyer Portable Protien Pack (P3).  On the weekends, I have eggs and bacon.  Also, have to put in there a latte on the way to work to get me functional for the drive from hell.
