Pasta with butter, garlic and parm cheese, hummus and pita bread, a bowl of cereal, or a peanut butter and honey sandwich.

Oh I’m terrible when I’m home alone for dinner.  If it’s not frozen pizza, it’s microwave popcorn.    When I was in college, I used to have yogurt and Corn Flakes for dinner and still do that sometimes now.

If I’m busy I’ll grab a frozen meal, but otherwise I eat normal meals.

I go for ice cream.  Strawberries and homemade vanilla from blue bell specifically.

And my fiance just left for eight weeks….oh no!

@bakerella: I eat crap. I usually dont eat “dinner” if DH isnt here. I usually have cereal or ice cream instead. Sometimes a bunch of pickles and olives and cheese LOL so bad for me! And DH is working a lot of over time the past few months ;(

Ice cream. Pop tarts. Other random garbage that’s in the fridge/cupboard.

Sometimes I go big and microwave a Hot Pocket or make fish sticks!

My DH is of the opinion that it’s not a meal if it doesn’t include meat, so if I cook I’ll make something meatless that I like and he doesn’t.  We pretty much don’t keep snack foods around, so if I’m hungry I have to cook an actual meal or go out.

Sometimes I’ll just have cereal, but my “alone time” standby is baked salmon with EVOO, salt, and pepper, and some steamed broccoli.

ETA: Not as fancy as it sounds – the salmon and broccoli start out frozen!

Leftovers, cereal, something that I know he’ll hate. If I’m feeling bad pizza or chinese.  More often than not — cereal.

Last night I was home alone – I made cripsy kale and baby back ribs!  LOL – not typical, but may just become my new home alone meal!  So yum!

Lean Pockets, Totinos Pizza Rolls, cereal, chips and salsa, or a sandwich. I’ll occasionally order take-out like a turkey reuben. If I’m ever home alone for dinner, I use it as my cheat meal for the week 😉

I either eat leftovers or get fast food! We’re newlyweds and don’t cook very much. I’m usually alone for dinner on Mondays and Wednesday because he has night classes.
