    Popular vote is split 33% for each of Obama, Romney and third party/write-in candidates. Obama wins by electoral votes.

    I think Romney wins the popular vote, but Obama wins the electoral college votes.

    @Nona99:  +1 lol

    I generally vote Republican (I identify myself as Libertarian, but I see no point in splitting the vote), but I’m expecting Obama to win. Maybe I’ll be surprised, though, I never expected Bush to get a second term.

    Same here.  I hope I’m wrong.

    Since I work in politics, I only follow Rasmussen and Colo, since they have traditionally been the most accurate. They kust moved FL to Red, NJ to leaning blue, and Ohio to likely red. Even the newest polls out of WI are breaking red. I fully expect, unless a total catastrophe occurs that this trend will continue seeing the Republican absentee voting is up by two thirds in contested states. The election is almost already decided with the early voting trends.

    I’m voting Romney but not because I really like him or anything. I would like to see Obamacare go away among other things. However, I really thought up till now that Obama would win but I am seeing a tipping in the scales n Romneys favor…so who knows. I am in Colorado and in my circle majority seem to favor Romney but it’s really close like 6 out of 10.

    A scary thing for America. I can’t say I stand behind either canidate and so at this point I am very worried about what this election holds. Also, someone with more political savvy than me want to explain why we still have the electorial college and don’t just direct elect?? I mean, yes we are still the uneducated rabble the founding fathers feared, but I don’t really get the point still.

    I will want to move out of this country if Romney becomes president.

    So, I’m praying Obama wins.

    Yes, we probably are. Media is biased and it seems like most people buy into it.

    @chasesgirl:  If you dont have an electoral college, Cali, Ny and only the larger states would count. They would decide an election. Right now, even the one electoral college vote in my town is needed. My vote makes a difference because of the EC.
