I mostly flag good posts.
I never see spam, so I’m guessing other people catch it before I do, but I’d def. flag that. I think of self-promotion in the same category. Though I wish people could list their personal blogs in their profiles or something, because every now and then I read a post by someone, and it’s just awesome, and I think, “If she had a blog, I would totally read it!” But once the blog threads are unstickied, I can never find them. And even wheen I do, it’s so much work to read through all the posts hoping that the person you’re looking for has posted their blog link in the thread. I am lazy.
I never thought of flagging double posts.
If I saw something way out of line, personal attacks or hate speech, I’d flag it. I’m pretty thick skinned, usually, and tend to take an each to their own attitude on those things, so it would have to be really ugly for me to actually flag it.
I don’t flag sarcasm or snarkiness–so much of that is subjective. I know I’ve said stuff meaning to be funny (I should quit that) and people’ve gotten panty knots over it because they thought I was serious.
I never flag something just because I disagree with someone. Even if it makes me so mad because they are wrong on the internet.

I usually do the same. Ive been on here for a while and i just ignored whatever angered me and moved on. But the one I flagged just made me SO mad at the time.

Now that I know you can also flag posts you agree with, I’ve been flagging once or twice a day.
I mostly flag for spam and self promotion. But I’ve flagged when people are ganging up against someone or if they say something particularly cruel, too.
I only ever flag for spam and self-promotion posts, except for once where I flagged one comment for being extremely rude to the OP.
I have yet to do my first flagging. It will likely be one of the ‘isms’. That is the only ‘flag worthy’ item I feel there is. Others are not as offensive as that.
I’ve flagged to have posts moved and a couple of times for someone being really nasty to another member. I can’t even remember the people that I’ve flagged, but it takes a lot to offend me and whatever they said was ugly enough. I’ve never flagged for anyone being snarky to me. It’s just other members that I sometimes get offended for.

Nothing. These boards are not my job.

I’ve flagged vendor spam, occasionally to move a post to a more descriptive board (posted in general but should be in dress), and I have defnitely flagged when there is a cray cray blatant personal attack. If I feel that something is racist or sexist I don’t think I usually flag it, I think I usually respond in the post and say “that’s ___ist and I disagree with you” or “your post appears ___ist because x,y,z”.
I flag for snarkiness, if someone is being a flat-out _unt. Blantent trolling and self promotion and spam.
I have no problems flagging.
But I also have no problems standing up for myself or voicing my opinion.
I guess I’m a mixed bag of tricks.
I flag spam only, I might comment that people need to move to classifieds but I don’t flag it.
Actually I think I flagged someone once but they were being an absolutely terrible person.
I flag posts the type of posts that start to get out of control with attacks, etc. I’m probably not the only one.
Love it. That’s generally my feeling on the whole situation.
I flag when I see spam or people selling things on the board that should be in classifieds (I think I’m suppose to flag for that?) I don’t think I’ve ever flagged for language, and I don’t think I’ve seen bad-enough snarkiness or harrassment or really any of the -isms to flag them. Oh and I flagged once recently when I wasn’t *sure* a thread was going in a good direction, just to give the mods a heads-up. Oh, and double posts.
