My dog had allergies when we adopted him. This mostly included reverse sneezing and regular sneezing and also a runny nose. We tried benadryl but it didn’t help. He now takes a prescription pill every day it is called chlorphenarmine. It helps a lot. He hasn’t done his reverse sneezing in months. =]

Children’s benadryl has really helped my one allergy prone dog.  He has seasonal allergies so it should clear up once this pollen lightens up.

@fuentesbee:  hey girl, we go to Arlington Animal Hospital with our dog and he says to give her Zyrtec, and it works! Our friend takes her dogs there too and theyve told her the same thing.

We give our Maltese half an antihistamine when she is really bad (she gets awful rashes from allergies) and it clears her up so quickly. It’s a human thing but it is the only thing that helps her.
