@elsa_marita:  Wow! That looks so pretty! You have a great skill. So unique and something you could pass down to your children!

I would totally do it if I was more confident in my sewing abilities!!!

I kinda still want to try, but I am nervous about botching it

ugh! I wish I could sew. Your dress looks amazing! I used to fantasize about being a fashion designer but I only did fashion illiustrating because I suck at sewing.

Looks nice! My mum’s making mine, once I give her a pattern… I just can’t decide what I want. You obviously have a lot of skill, it’s quite lovely.

I considered it for about 20 minutes. Lol my mother and I made my grade 8 grad dress and prom dress because i could never find anything that i loved, in a colour i liked and that fit me well  and i remember halfway through both dresses wishing i had just purchased something off the rack.. Im happy we actually got someone else to make my dress this time lol

your dress looks incredible. I know those heavy fabrics, with boning and lining and all the construction that goes into these dresses is by no means an easy feat, so bravo to you! Did you use a pattern or do the pattern yourself?

What are you planning to do witht the rest of the dress? Are you making a veil to go with and ae you putting diamonetes on the front part.

Ooooo very nice! I’m making my dress too! I have to go fabric shopping when we visit my parents for Christmas and finalize the bodice pattern but I’ve made a muslin of the skirt and it’s exactly what I want. Are you using a pattern or did you self-draft?

Your dress looks amazing so far. Smile

I started to make my dress… but I tripped and ripped the skirt. And when I tried to fix it, I made it worse. I deconstructed the dress in a hissy fit, and have reused the pieces for Halloween costumes for myself and others.

I was very lucky to have a great Fiance that took me to our local Bridal Salon and ordered me a new dress. <3
