The stone itself is pretty, but I’m not a fan of marquise cuts at all.

Beautiful! The stone is a great color and I think marquise cuts make fingers look long and elegant.

I am totally digging on Marquise cuts right now and keep bidding on stones on ebay.  So I love it!

What are the dimensions of that stone and your ring size.

twentytwentybride :  My engagement for my first marriage was very similar to this ring. It was an emerald, but otherwise identical.

I liked it, but I’ll just say; it snagged on stuff all the time. It didn’t keep me from wearing it, but it’s just something to consider.

I think people are free to do whatever they want for an engagement ring these days. Tradition plays much less a role than it once did.

I hate marquise cuts but I love this ring! If it speaks to you, get it!!! ๐Ÿ™‚

I actually adore it. But I don’t like the setting at all (that’s just me)

I’d either do a really simple rose or yellow gold. Or even a gold halo would be stunning. It would really pop.

twentytwentybride :  I love it and I think it would look even more stunning in yellow gold. I’m not a fan of the tapered band; I think it would look gorgeous on a knife-edge band.

I think it’s beautiful and it will be GORGEOUS with a yellow gold setting. What is the center stone? Do you have any other pictures?

That is a truly gorgeous ring and the proportions on your finger are perfect! Yellow gold will really complement the stone. I love that marquise stones are coming back in style.

It’s not for me,but if you love it that’s all that counts.  It that a praisolite?

Looks like a sparkly green moissanite. I like a marquise cut. Very flattering on your hand.
