-Decide on rehersal party
-Decide on decor & meet with decorator
-Decide and get favours
Eep…thats a long list!

I am making my own invitations (and guestbook) so that is my priority now. And I guess we have to finish the guest list too!

I have this left to do:

-Decide on small gifts for the flower girls
-Figure out what fiance will wear to the wedding
-Figure out what our ring bearer aka our son will wear
-Decide on table decor for the couple tables we will have
-Buy all of the ingredients for our s’more bar
-Make homemade marshmallows for s’mores bar
-Order my necklace and bracelet
-Order and mail invitations
-Figure out music for the ceremony
-Get fiance’s ring sized and then order his ring
-Decide if we’re going to do a guest book or not
-Visit our venue (campsite) once there is less snow on the ground to figure out what the heck we realy are goig to do for cramming all of our guests into the TINY space
-Rent chairs and possibly a tent
…and many, many more things, I’m sure!!! Lol.

Truthfully, we are really taking it easy and not letting things stress us out. I ordered my dress at the beginning of this month. We finalized our guest list, are almost done working out the timing details and we have been designing our invitations. Fiance has been out with his best man/brother to look at tuxs and have since made a decision so it’s just a matter of booking them now.
I’m working on booking our DJ and will be visiting 2 florists tomorrow to make a decision. Our engagement photo shoot will be in May. I’ve contacted a bakery for our wedding favours but was disappointed and will have to find another.
We found what we thought was the perfect wedding band for Fiance, and were soooo close to buying it….. but the salesman was a complete jerk and we had to walk away. Thankfully, this particular jeweller has a couple locations, so we’ll be trying another.
I’ve been hunting for shoes for a while now but I think I might need to expand my horizons and take a roadtrip to somewhere with more options. I’m trying to match either of our colours, royal blue and yellow.
Less than 6 months!

We have a TON left to do! But we have appointments to do a lot of it set up already.
In March, we are taking a trip to my hometown and on the trip we will be:
* Selecting music and readings
* Marriage counseling
* Food tasting
* Second dress fitting
* Picking out tuxes
* Picking out linens and chairs for reception
* And we’re havng our engagement party!
What still needs to be done after that?
* Buy wedding rings
* Organize transportation
* Meet with florist (again, we already have them booked)
* Discuss song list with the band
* Finalize invitations (save the dates are already sent)
* Guest book
* Gifts for wedding party
* Welcome bags
I feel like I am forgetting something ugh. I probably am.

Pretty much everything PPs listed! I *might* change my dress, so that’s also up in the air.

I still have a lot of the same things, but I’m still not decided on some major things too like:
-cakes – to make my own cupcakes or not
-flowers – although really considering just getting some from the grocery store and having FI’s aunt make my bouquet
Still lots of time though! 🙂

Post # 14
Oh I feel like there is so much
– Grooms suit
– Groomsmen suits
– Flower girl dresses (having 2 and I think I have decided on a dress)
– Grooms ring
– Decide on bouquets
– All the DIY stuff I have (menu cards, table numbers, candle holders for tables)
I’m sure there is more lol

Ugh, I know writing this list is going to make me feel anxious! It would be much quicker to list the things I have done vs. the things I haven’t.
Still left to do:
– address and send out save the dates (end of this week hopefully!)
– decide wedding colors
– decide on/ book caterer
– book bakery for petit fours (no cake for us!)
– book photographer
– decide on bridesmaid dresses
– book hair and makeup
– buy shoes/ jewelry
– decide on groom and groomsmen attire
– centerpieces and reception decor
– bouquets and ceremony decor
– buy guestbook
– book honeymoon
– shop for wedding rings
– buy Bridesmaids’ gifts/ parents’ gift
– invitations! almost forgot that one!
Eek! Thankfully I have a wedding planner who will tackle a lot of these items, but looking at them all listed out is scary! I’m sure I’ve even forgotten a thing or two… 🙁

I am feeling pretty good about everything I have done. What’s left for us:
– Get a guestbook (or decide if we will have one)
– Send invitations (they are already ordered)
– Book rehearsal dinner and send invites (possibly e-vites)
– Book cake baker
– Finalize readings/music for ceremony
– Finalize reception dances and music (like father daughter, first dance, mother son)
– Create contact sheet and vendor timeline for DOC
– Finish vows
– Finish Bridesmaid or Best Man gifts
– Dress fittings
– Pick out dress accessories (I have my sisters veil but undecided if I will use it)
I think that’s it. My Future In-Laws are coming in town next weekend for our tasting and we will book the rehearsal dinner spot and cake that weekend. Everything else is just minor things that Fiance and I have to finish. 🙂
