Recently the Fiance and I have been searching for our wedding bands. We came across this this ring that I’ve fallen in love with. http://www.kay.com/en/kaystore/engagement—wedding/diamond-enhancer-ring-1-2-ct-tw-round-cut-14k-white-gold-040996403–1/100006/100006.100007.100011 The store ordered it in so we will be able to have a look at it soon!
I’ve searched forever for a celtic knot looking band to go with my solitare. What do you ladies think? Do you think blue diamonds are a trend that will soon fade?

I think blue diamonds are gorgeous! They may not always be as popular as they are now, but they’ll never stop being beautiful. 🙂

The band is very pretty! I love it! // I think blue diamonds are very pretty. It looks like a sapphire (which is classic) but it has the brillance/flash that sapphires don’t have. I wouldn’t worry about the trends. It is whatever you love!

I like the naturally blue ones, but I worry because I’ve read that the irradiated ones can sometimes become radioactive themselves and sometimes the color is temporary,as well. These ones say they’re “treated,” so that definitely arouses my concern.

I think blue diamonds are really pretty and those bands are freaking COOL! I love them 🙂

Blue diamonds are so gorgeous in person, too! I have to admit, I never understood the colored diamond thing until I saw them in the store. I’m a believer now, haha. I think that blue stones will always be at least somewhat popular. They’re pretty closely tied with weddings, and they match everything :). Basically…that’s a gorgeous ring and I’m sure you’ll love it forever!

Thank you Bees for all of your responses! I guess I was just a little worried that it would be one of those things thats just too “trendy” at the moment. I guess I will know for sure how much I love it when I finally see it in person!

@LilySparks: I think it’s pretty but I’m a fan of natural colored diamonds, not the artificially treated ones. If I wanted color I’d probably go w. a gemstone ring like a sapphire.

Love blue diamonds!! They change things up, which I appreciate 😉 And blue pretty much matches with everything. I do prefer when the blue diamonds are set on a white metal, and not a black rhodium plated metal.

I love blue! I got engaged last month and designed my band with small blue accents. I don’t think it’s a fad at all. 🙂
