So my boyfriend is in a real crabby mood because I woke up late and want to lounge around the house in my PJ’s, and he wants to go to the pool, or go watch a basketball game with his friend and gf (his friend who I don’t like, and the gf I don’t know). So now he’s upset, and calling me boring because I like to chill at home on Sunday afternoons. Do you and your bf have differing ideas on how to spend a nice weekend afternoon? What do you like doing on a Sunday? Any suggestions on how to deal with this dilema? I told him he can go to his friend’s if he’d like… Currently he’s decided to go to the pool on his own, I’m glad, hoping this will make him cool off. Does this ever happen to you?

Sunday is my day off from everything: no work, no exercise, no laundry, no cleaning, no getting out of PJs… I tend to just do whatever takes my fancy, long bath, bit of yoga, read, listen to music. Sunday is my happy day!

I’m feeling like a lazy slug this afternoon. I really haven’t done anything and it’s so nice outside! I feel guilty for sitting on my ass all day. I enjoy weekends a lot better when I get out and do something fun!

We alternate our sundays, which is our only day off together. One week we will stay at home for the day and do some diy and house stuff and take a walk to the beach (literally at the end of the road) and on other sundays we will go for a day out somewhere historic usually or visiting family, wedding venues, shopping etc xx

Sundays (except today) consist of us sleeping in, making breakfast, going to his mom’s for lunch and laundry (she doesn’t want us to pay to do laundry at our complex while we can just bring it over and do it at her place). We come home, put away the laundry, watch tv, have dinner, and then I go to bed early.

I like to do nothing on Sundays. I only have every other weekend off so it’s nice.

I love to lounge. I had brunch with friends, then sat on the balcony for a while, watched some trashy TV, and now Fiance and I just ordered dinner and are about to put on some movies!

Sunday is our lounge day. It’s rare if we even shower and get dressed. We normally watch a few movies and catch up on whatever TiVo’ed shows we’ve missed. It’s by far my favorite day of the week.

Sundays are busy days for us, as my Darling Husband is a pastor, and we are both involved in other ministries and/or classes at our church. During football season, we generally come home from church and eat lunch while watching the first of three football games that day/evening. Occasionally, we have some type of Sunday night event to attend, too. If we DO have any downtime on a Sunday afternoon, Darling Husband is usually so exhausted from working late on Saturday nights and on Sundays that he will just crash and take a long nap. He did that today, and, so, I was on WB, lol.

I like to do absolutely nothing! Love to be in my sweats and t-shirt and cuddle up with Fiance watching movies or shows that we taped during the week.

I try to do a whole helluva lotta nothing. Sunday is recharge for the workweek day. I am not down for having any strangers over to my house on recharge Sundays.

Since we lounge after work on the weekdays, I like to do a lot on Sundays. Go to a movie, get lunch or dinner in the city, walk in the park, etc. Today, we did yoga in the park and went to his parents, so we didn’t get to the city, but it was nice.

We are pretty active on the weekends and Sundays are spent meeting his parents or mine for brunch, cleaning up around the house, running errands, gardening (me, not him), taking our dogs for a long walk (sometimes the kids come too), doing laundry, and finally relaxing in the evening with a movie/show/book.

@Imean: Yes!! I love to go do things…the zoo, bike riding, picnic at the park, hike, go see a movie, etc. My SO wants to either sit on the couch and watch TV or do housework. So we compromise by doing our own thing. I went to the park with friends and drank beer and ate delicious food all day, while he worked on his car. We sometimes compromise, but for me, I’d rather us just do our own thing.
