It’s SPARKLY. Like, really sparkly. Omg.

It’s also really simple (perfect) and proportional to my tiny fingers and active lifestyle. (so perfect) Plus I love round diamonds.

The fact that although it isnt vintage, it has a very vintate look to it.

The diamond!

I know that’s probably a really shallow thing to say, but honestly, before I got my ring I didn’t care at all what it looked like or how nice the stone was. I’d never really taken the time to notice diamonds before, so I was SHOCKED at how sparkly and beautiful mine is. I love it!

the centre stone was in his grandmother’s engagement ring, so i have a piece of his family’s history. my mother has an heirloom stone as well, and so does his mother. it’s tradition.

I love that he got me an emerald and built the ring and setting personally with his uncle (who is our jeweler)!

Aside from the fact that he chose it all my himself, I think I love that it’s pretty delicate, like me.   Nothing about me is big or flashy, I mean my ring is not so plain that it goes unnoticed, but it’s just, there.   Like my hair, or my shoes.   It’s really just a perfect style and size for me  🙂

My center stone! I picked out my dream ring at one store and Fi went to a different store where his friend could get him a discount that enabled him to upgrade my center stone. I didnt think I cared about stats on my diamond, but he personally chose my center stone and its stunning! SO Sparkly!  He put a lot of thought into it, and that means a lot to me!

I love the band and the whole setting. I fell in love with it the moment I saw it! So many were just not “me” but this one was.

My centre stone is an Old mine Cut from ca 1860. I love the history behind it, the originality of the cut, the sparkle and the size. I seriously never in a million years though I would own anything so magnificent! I also love the little hearts that make out the basket. Above all of that though, I love how looking at it reminds me of my husband and of how lucky I am to have him.

The uniqueness of my ring.  I have yet to see another ring like it.  I love that the way it is in the picture is the way we bought it, its all one ring so we don’t have to buy wedding bands for me.  It was also less expensive than a traditional “engagement” ring because it is considered a “fashion” ring.  So while its diamonds and gold and over a ct it was soooo much cheaper because it doesn’t have the e-ring tacked on it.

I love that mine has a pop of color.  I have a 3-stone ring and the two side stones are aquamarines.  The setting is pretty classic, but the color makes it more fun and unique to me.
