My Fiance got me started on this, you take Miracle whip (HAS to be miracle whip), ketchup, some diced onions and shredded cheese, then you spread it onto a piece of bread and toss in the toaster oven until it’s toasted Delish!

I’ve realized that none of mine are actually weird. There just not normal in Western cuisine. I consider myself a major foodie and LOOOOVE authentic dishes from around the world. But people have a hell of a time getting me to eat that midwestern meatloaf and salisbury steak crap (cough Mother-In-Law cough). UGH.

Haha I can only think of childhood food love-affairs that other people thought were gross:
Plain hotdogs (always hated condiments growing up – still hate ketchup and relish).
Blended up chili (I didn’t like the chunks)

crackers peanut butter and cheese
lasagne with mayo on top

Jam and cheese is AWESOME (cheddar or cream cheese works)
I like cream cheese with almost anything in any form…sweet, salty, with garlic, with salmon or even by itself!
Apricot jam on chicken salad sandwiches
Love chicken livers… pate, baked or fried chicken livers
I used to love making a sandwich with melted sharp cheddar cheese, thousand islands dressing and sliced sweet gherkins!
I like anything that’s sweet and sour or sweet and salty…kettle corn, vinaigrettes, I pickle beets (and onions) by slicing them and boiling them in a combo of vinegar, sugar and a cinnamon stick
Love fried calamari tentacles…they hold onto the breading really well lol
I’m sure there’s more that I’m forgetting lol

Liverwurst. I think most people are turned off by the texture not the taste though.

I used to love fresh smoked salmon and peanut butter, but I lost my tolerance for seafood as I grew older, so I haven’t had it in years.
I was a vegetarian for 8 years, and since I live in Alaska almost everything that I’d eat grossed people out. Especially Quarn brand tofurky logs. I’d slice them up and eat them with BBQ sauce or ranch, and it always grossed people out! LOL
And FH thinks it’s disgusting that I would eat gallons of edamame a day if I could hahaha.

I have a few weird things I like:
– Scrambled Egg Tacos. It’s a hard-shelled taco with all the fixings, but instead of meat, I used scrambled eggs.
– I dip my asparagus (my favorite vegetable) in melted white chocolate… Everyone thinks this is gross.
– BBQ Tofu Bites. This is just seasoned tofu with BBQ sauce on it that is baked in the oven.
– Hungarian food. My family is Hungarian and I ate a lot of it growing up. Every time I talk about Goulash, Fiance gets grossed out. /:
